In the material's raws, add any of these, depending on what you want:

Actually for stone weapons (made in craftshop) add [CAN_STONE] to the weapon "item_weapon.txt"

as for bone all ranged weapons can be made from bone at a bowers shop (back in 40d this is how we made and equipped weapons like whips and daggers) but make a custom reaction for each weapon (if you goto my sig and click modder's reasource I have a raw cloning utility that will help with this quest)
