Name: Gover
Race: Jell
Physical Description: Gover is made from ordinary cave water and usually adopts the appearance of one of the Mucks he is particularly fond of from the Muck settlement nearest his home. At his core is a large bronze ring, almost the size of a small tiara, embossed with a carving of a bat. Nobody is quite sure where it came from or what magic it might hold, but Gover likes to think it makes him special.
Mental Description: Gover is jovial, eager to please and exceedingly competitive, especially when he gets a chance to outdo one of his siblings. He usually seems a bit homesick, but perks up quickly enough whenever another Jell or Muck is around to talk to. He gets very annoyed when people make fun of his name.
Backstory: "Third-Ring-Falling-Over-the-Falls-and-Into-the-River", or "'Gover" by his non-Jell friends, is a Jell from the Water Clan living near the underground river Nidrata. He was created, the youngest of three siblings, after a trio of magic rings fell over the waterfall near his clan's village. He spent most of his time capturing fish to sell to the Mucks and, before being sent to wherever he is now, was the best of friends with the child of the local Muck fish cleaner. One day when he was out fishing, the magic ring at his core started glowing! There was a flash of light and now he's somewhere he doesn't recognize. Oh hell, a wizard caught him or something, didn't he?

Name: Iosef
Race: Golem

Physical Description: Iosef is a large, imposing grey stone golem. He is weathered from decades of traveling and fighting, and his right hand, rather than being made of stone, is made of a rare, unknown metal, crafted for him by a mysterious blacksmith, which seems to have durability surpassing that of diamond. His eyes glow yellow with his spark. He wears a large leather belt and boots, with a sash carrying a scabbard where he carries an immense bastard sword, created specifically for a golem.

Mental Description: Iosef is generally quiet and secretive. He is quite introspective and calm even in the most desperate situations, and generally is the straight man to most of his companions. However, when enraged, he can be quite destructive, and implacable.

Backstory: Iosef was once a golem under the service of a clan of Jells by a small underground pool in Temple, as a guard and protector. As with most golems, Iosef saw no desire to leave the servitude of his creators, until one night, when Aberrant raiders sacked the settlement of Jells, killing most, if not all in the process. Iosef fought valiantly with his immense sword, but eventually, he was overwhelmed and blinded.

When the blindness wore off, Iosef found that none of the Aberrants remained, nor the Jells. His bond to his creators shattered, Iosef, without a purpose, wandered aimlessly. He eventually, slowly, began travelling by himself, seeking to improve himself and make himself better at the job he'd failed at, and slowly passing from each adventuring party within Temple, and learning and honing new skills.

Name: Charlie

Race: Doll

Physical Description: a small humanoid, about 1 meter and 30 centimeters tall, outwardly male in his features, which may have once been rather attractive. His skin seems to be made of tan-colored clay, and it's certainly seen quite a lot of abuse in its time. He looks like he's been shattered into pieces, then glued back together by unskilled hands, and many of the pieces composing his outer clay layer don't fit or are missing, these spots revealing darkish metal underneath. His mouth is completely unmoving, having received a particularly large amount of glue inside its workings. Possesses a full head of a dark brown hair, though it is rather matted and even burnt in some places. Wears a pair tattered dress pants and a patchwork jacket that looks a bit too large for him, as well as a set of shoes clearly past their prime by several decades. In addition, one of his eyes is obviously rather loose in its socket. One of his knees creaks very prominently if bent, so Charlie has locked it in place with a scavenged knee-brace - as a result, he moves with a faint limp.

Mental Description: due to his glue-related speech impediment (as in, it is completely impossible for him to speak without massive facial reconstruction he cannot afford) Charlie isn't particularly talkative, and due to his crippling poverty he is rather focused on staying out of the way of more important people that could potentially feel that he needs removal from the premises he happens to be on at any given time. Though his inability to speak or form expressions certainly limits his methods of emoting in any way, he is most certainly not a stoic by nature. In fact, he is rather emotional and sensitive, though he rarely manages to exhibit such emotions. Has an intense need for companionship, and gravitates toward various groups of people regardless of race. Is usually morally-conscious in his actions.

Backstory: when a human child is dropped, they may suffer repercussions for their entire lives. When a newly-made Doll is dropped, things go a bit differently. Particularly when your creator, like Charlie's, is both a perfectionist and a hothead. After Charlie slipped from his hands and fell after his animation, his creator, disappointed by this misfortune, opted to finish the job while cursing loudly, then throwing him out the window onto the street, then having some tea and snacks afterward while still seething. Meanwhile, Charlie, literally thrown out on the street, was slowly pieced together by beggar children on the streets, who treated it as a puzzle of sorts. After getting his skin pieced and glued together and all the parts put where they should be, Charlie eventually recovered and took up the begging life as well - he was certainly disfigured enough. After many years of skulking through a great many streets, there was a strange happening - a flash of light, then Charlie wound up in a place he did not recognize. He figures a wizard did it, though he's hardly an expert on such matters.

Name: Stygus

Race: Aberrant Crabman

Physical Description: A hunched figure with a strong carapace, somewhat resembling a bipedal crab. It's shell is mottled green with hanging strands of algae and weeds. It has segmented mouthparts, but can still hiss an approximation of speech. It has six arms: the lowest pair are vestigial, and of little use. The second pair are segmented, and have reasonably flexible, four-fingered hands on them. The top pair have each a large claw, the right claw being slightly larger. it's legs are segmented, and it's feet are plated with two claws. While it can wear trousers and the like, it finds torso armour impractical - and for it's toughened back, unnecessary. It's front is softer, though, with more segmented cracks - an armour plate would not go amiss. it is good at swimming, and can breather underwater, but being without water for a while makes it intensely uncomfortable and it's shell will seize up to prevent more water loss, reducing it's agility. Stygus isn't very agile, being constrained by carapace, but is strong. it has difficulties reaching things attached to it's back, the curve of it's shell getting in the way.

Mental Description: It was rather happy with its lot in life, not being a creature designed for deep thought. Curious as to the processes of other races, but not concerned, it watched an lived a life mainly of solitude. It isn't very happy now, having just been mysteriously teleported out of it's sewer home into... where, exactly? Without a huge understandign of morality, it will do what it thinks will benefit it the most. it thinks of itself as it, though it is biologically male.

Backstory: It was born in a tank from a crab egg, warped by some twisted wizard. When none of it's brethren survived the mutations of their eggs, the whole process was considered a failure and dmped into the waterways. However, Stygus survived, and grew and thrived in the waterways and sewers, eating fish, algae, and the occasional Jell. As it grew, it's intelligence expanded, and it learnt to be curious. It watched the races of the Temple from the water, learning their tongue and trying to understand their ways. There was a flash of light and now Stygus somewhere it doesn't recognize. It is concerned it has been affected by a wizard.

Name: AU-CWA-A (Aqua)
Race: Golem
Physical Description: The golem is made of metal and quite unusual- it's made nearly entirely oftungsten, except for a polymer faceplate with a changing and sometimes even turning off glow! Its torso is made of corrugated metal, about three feet high, two wide, one and a half thick and is quite featureless- with the single exception of an uncorrugated square of metal on the golem's back featuring the words Tungsten Standard Product AU-CWA-A.

It also has two arms, with joints in the place that a human would have them, also corrugated, with five spindly, long and many jointed fingers- supported by external pneumatic cylinders. The arms themselves have a few pneumatic cylinders on the inside, as well as two external pneumatic cylinders each. Its legs are much the same, although its feet are circular, with a flat and thick quadripod for staying upright. The insides of his arms contain tools- saw, hammer, screwdriver, riveter etc. for construction of structures. Both his arms and legs contain kinetic energy gatherers hooked up to a power holding device in his torso.

Aqua's head is different from the rest of his body, being completely smooth where it's metal, with a polymer faceplate display that arranges lights into the shape of a simplistic face or text. Inside the head is most of the electronics of the android.
Mental Description: Autonomous Unit - Construction Worker Android - Alpha was not programmed to show an especial amount of personality, but was programmed both to think for itself and to keep working no matter what. Due to that, Aqua does not show emotion strongly, nor does appear at a glance to be anything more than mindless. However, if one looks closely, they can indeed see a personality. Aqua has an incredibly strong work ethic and level of perseverance, never giving up. Aqua is also quite optimistic, believing that any problem can be solved. However, Aqua is quite... uncomprehending, depending on his automatic (and sometimes no longer functioning due to location change) protocols frequently, and showing an inability to take things figuratively. However, in a new environment, his psyche is frequently changing...
Backstory: AU-CWA-A was originally designed as a construction android for an alternate dimension society which depended on androids for its labor. He was the first of the third series of a relatively new model of autonomous android developed by the perfectionist Tungsten Standard company for the construction of structures, and as the previous series of this model had done before, AU-CWA-A showed itself to be quite useful for this despite its (increasingly popular at the time) humanoid mimic body, a kind of body added on to increase appeal often (but not in this case) at the expense of quality. After succeeding his tests, AU-CWA-A was going to be shipped off for usage. But then there was a flash of light, and AU-CWA-A was somewhere he didn't recognize- ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR

Turn 0: Also You Hunger




Six creatures awaken to find themselves in a strange place. Specifically, this looks an awful lot like a trash heap. None of it looks useful, but you suppose you could examine it more carefully hoping to find something anyway. Ladder rungs appear to lead to trapdoors or similar on the ceiling on both sides of the room.

The company is also strange. A broken and remade doll, a crablike thing, a red-furred and orange-scaled person with prosthetic arms on one side, a nice-looking lamb, a strange creature with rubbery flesh and too many eyes, and a metal golem with an expressive faceplate, all apparently waking up and looking around at the same time.

Finally, you yourself feel strange. It's like there's a peculiar HUNGER of some sort. Like you know that if you KILL you could grow even stronger...

Fucking wizards.

Illustrations will not be a part of most updates, and I do apologize for where they're not particularly representative (crabguy isn't supposed to have crablegs, for instance). I just wanted to add a bit of flavor.

The android's faceplate changed to the letters E R R O R immediately upon being transported to the trash heap, an as it went rigid, a strange buzzing, and somewhat high pitched- a tenor, about- voice began to spit out nonsense.
"ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! Sudden relocation unaccounted for. Error! Error! Supervisor not within communication range. Sending communication to emergency supervision... Error! Error! Error! Emergency supervision not within communication range! Sending communication to manafacturer... ERROR! Manafacturer not within communications range! ...Converting to full autonomy... Conversion process complete. AU-CWA-A fully autonomous.Notable lack of data on current location. Notable lack of cargo. Activating gathering and exploration mode. ...Notable emotional process corruption. Attempting to repair after main priorities."
The android went through the area to check its size and to see if there was any useful construction materials.
