Armok sighting: confirmed for dragon?

I was going about a fort as normal, until I noticed a massive blood pool in the rough shape of a dragon.

Could this be Armok (praise be upon his bloodiness) manifesting himself as a dragon?

So are you sure you're playing Dwarf Fortress and not some ASCII-verison of Dragon Age?  ;)

Definitely not. An object on the ground--such as a crossbow bolt, vermin remains, or a dead kobold--will have a different color palette when the tile it is on is soaked in a contaminant... whether it be snow or blood. It's subtle, but you can tell that wasn't faked with a red sand painter.

Now, whether or not it was faked by flooding the map in blood and then spot cleaning to make the pattern emerge, I can't say. But it seems unlikely. Especially since the spotclean has no option to leave mud/snow, so there wouldn't be snow and blood both on the map if that's what he did.
