Something I didn't expect

I wanted to try for a megaproject so I embarked to Tar Vandal with my Ale Seduced, but before starting the construction I decided to get my militia trained and King/Queen in place.

On the 24th of Granite 506 the Queen arrived with her entourage heralding the beginning of a new era of construction and architecture which would leave the world in Awe.. or so I thought...

Oh bugger..
This will be awkward now lol.
Not only is she a Vampire but she is a Goblin Vampire.
Instead of the shining white walls of Tar Vandal I guess a grim and gloomy castle would be more apt, if she doesn't depopulate the whole fort first. That's a pretty long kill list. lol

It's annoying because I had a full suite kitted out with Adamant furniture prepared for her but now I can't assign it to her... bitch.

I love how her one notable kill is Kutsmob "Uselesswicked."  Someone found a use for him after all.

My Monarch is a WMD I'd be lucky if the other races don't join forces and invade me just for having her in my fort. ;)
I've got her locked up in a burrow down below at the moment til I figure out the best way to deploy her.  ???

You are right, this could be a blessing in disguise.

She is content to be locked up down there and doesn't give out mandates or demands (yet). She has just been elected as Mayor too, so that's two nobby positions that are not giving out annoying mandates. :D

I might cage some gobbos and let her beat them up later.

Yeah, non-dwarves don't give mandates/demands in noble positions.

construct a blood temple.  also use df hack to check her stats.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

I think Cacame Awemedinade, Elf King of the Dwarves, back story was written by the game for the most part. So, find out the true history of your blood queen and then flesh out the unfilled stuff.

I think 99% of the community would argue this is why you don't remove vampires from world gen.
