((Apologies, must have been unclear with the text - he can now see the rough shapes of things thanks to the dwarfs runes, and hear. Although there is a way to fix him that the party could do at this moment, but it's not something that would make sense with the knowledge you currently have. Two actually, but hey. And don't blame me, blame the metamorphica :P

And also, just as a hint/warning - most of the time the system for chaos magic will be RTDish, complete with extreme failures and overshots.))

(Ryxa)
As Ryxa speaks the automaton steps back, and freezes, the vines twitching slightly almost in concentration. then Ryxa blinks in pain as her thoughts are forced apart to be replaced by a single line - 'I can see you. I can hear you.' A moment later, the feeling passes, leaving her clutching her head.

(Kyle)
Ryxa places her hand upon what was once your chest and speaks. Hearing her, you step back, and focus for a second, trying to see if there is any other senses or methods of communication. As you let your mind drift, you suddenly feel a shake throughout the cavern, followed by another, and another, as a dwarf patrol passes by, iron boots thumping on the ground.
 Snapping back to reality, you instead focus your message on Ryxa - only to see her recoil in pain, and to your greater surprise you find that you can feel her steps away.

Ryxa shakes her head. Pain...but, progress.

"So you can hear me?" She asks hesitantly.

"We can work through this until you're...better. Try to send me something simple, an images or colors and I will try to empty my mind."

Ryxa thought it she just 'opened up' her mind, it might not hurt so much. Not that chaos magic made any sense...

As Kyle focuses, Ryxa relaxes her mind, attempting to let her guard down. Then suddenly, her guard breaks, agonising pain coming through the link.
(R12-2)
 She grits her teeth together as she collapses to her knees, focusing on the pain from her bitten tongue to remain conscious. Suddenly the pain stops, and she emits an audible gasp of relief, a trickle of blood oozing down her chin.

Ryxa wipes the blue blood from her chin defiantly.

"...I shall not give up. I at least I know there's still a part of you in there, Kyle. I believe we can forge a link. It may be the only way to draw you back.

Let us both try to think of the same thing...a fire, in a hearth. Warm and glowing. Three round logs smoldering in unison. Then we shall place our images together, and unify our thoughts."

Another surge of pain hits Ryxa.
(R7-2)
The pain is just as severe this time, although the image does come through. However, the blood leaking from the Drows tongue flows faster as her heart beats harder, and she bites down again, coughing once, then twice, and spraying the floor with blood, as well as a small chunk of flesh. A group of passing dwarves see this, looking alarmed, and retreat in the opposite direction. {their lights pulsing brightly.}

(( Ok, this is definitely edging from a light wound towards heavy. just as a warning, although it will likely be non fatal ))

Selina quickly pulls out A1, B2 and T1 to heal Ryxa's injuries.

"We can try again later... Or maybe i could try?" Selina uses her runes on Ryxa then indicates to Kyle to try with her before clearing her mind.

Kyle does a motion that looks like a sigh if, you know if that was possible. And then attempts to project a vision of a cookie into Selina's head.
