OK, this is getting ridiculous. I will wait until Saturday and if the last winner still doesn't claim his prize I will hold a second chance drawing for the other copy. I know stuff comes up, but I feel bad that somebody won who doesn't want it as bad as many other people.

I keep double checking to make sure it wasn't me! Anyway, I'd pretend to be upset about this announcment, but the prospect of a second chance is too awesome. I'm great at second chances!

Someone sent me a PM saying that it's unfair of me to give the unclaimed copy to someone else and asking why I don't just contact the person who won.

To clarify my reason: I gave away three copies of a $50 game. A bunch of people were excited to have a chance to win the game with a really easy contest. One of the people who won has been on the forums everyday since but hasn't bothered to check to see if they won. That action tells me that they weren't actually that excited and perhaps would not be very grateful for the prize. I'm not mad, my feelings aren't hurt, but I would rather see it go to someone who REALLY wants it.

So is ANYONE else offended by the idea that I hold a second chance drawing to award the unclaimed prize?

I'm not, and I'm not saying that just because I lost. I checked this daily, and then every once in a while after the drawing was done just to see people's reactions. I think the only person you could be making mad would be the original winner, but they should have known when the contest was over and checked at least a day or two after that time, barring not being online, and then as soon as possible the next time they were on.

If the original third winner does not claim the prize by noon EST tomorrow I will hold a second drawing from the remaining entrants, but not any of the previous winners.
