Ok, well, this game was fun, so now I'm going to use the end of this thread to brainstorm new ideas and rule sets and whatnot.

Name: Erica the Quiet
Race: Human
Class: Red Mage
Looks: A girl white long white hair and sad eyes. She walks around in an outlandish red outfit befitting those who practice both damaging and restorative magic.
History: Erica was born to a poor weaver's family in a brookside village. Instead of taking up her parents' trade, she moved to the city to learn magic, thinking it would help bring prosperity to herself, her parents and her poorer friends. After a year or so of study, she heard of a dungeon filled with loot and gold. Once her second-year white magic studies were finished, she headed off to quest for the loot and money deep within.

Class: Blue Mage
Looks: This gentleman reminds you of a placid lake. He has narrow apple-green eyes. His silky, wavy, neck-length hair is the color of blueberries, and is worn in a simple, severe style. He is tall for a gnome (almost 20 whole inches!) and has a graceful build. His skin is china-white. He has nearly-nonexistent eyebrows. His wardrobe is bizarre, and is completely gray. He has a large, round nose.
History: Gimblum was a pretty gnormal gnome in Gnomoria.

Race: Human
Class: Steam blast rogue. (If no steampunk then just rogue)
Looks: A handsome young man that is usually seen with a roguish grin.
History:  Kyle has always been a their and a charmer whether stealing the teachers apple or defending someone from school yard bullies he always is doing what he wants and he does it well.

Name: Davit
Race: Elf
Class: Brawling Magician
Looks: A slightly battered looking young elf, who may've been somewhat good looking, but a fair amount of hardship left him looking... well, not really that. Has blue eyes and silky hazel hair, done in a short unkempt style.
History: The eldest son of a noble family and something of a failure to said family, due to his lack of direction in life, not to mention his general distaste for most of his duties as a nobleman. One of the few things he did that pleased them was his liking for his magic classes. But, he really only focused on what he considered practical and didn't really bother with the others.
As one may imagine, when he left home in an attempt to distance himself from his 'snooty, stuck up' family, it was more a cause for relief than worry for them.
After a long trail of bar brawls, street fights and other such antics, he decided to give that whole adventuring gig a try. Whether or not this is a good idea, remains to be seen.

Name: Maribelle Elenor
Race: Elf
Class: Daring gladiator
Description: A solidly-built female elf, wearing leather armor that emphasizes on freedom of movement while still providing adequate protection. Has messy unkempt brown hair and Jade green eyes. There are scars showing that she has seen the heat of battle before, and has nearly perished several times.
History: Maribelle was a slave to a wealthy businessman, who enjoyed gladiatorial battles. For a while, Maribelle fought for her master, resenting him as fellow gladiators who she had formed bonds with, died in his arena. One day, she had enough, and organised a break out, killing her master and finally being free. Now, she needs money to actually have a life, and so she traveled to this dungeon, in search of treasure.

What do you mean by "Naga"? I've seen multiple depictions of them, so I want to know what kind you're talking about.




ALSO, I have added everybodies characters so far to the Main Post, complete with starting abilities!
If you'd like to comment on them, or regard balancing issues, go ahead.
We've still got plenty of time before this starts.

Name: Doctor Riren
Race: 1/64th angel
Class: Magic Synthesizer
Looks: A young man with pale skin and brown hair, with a pair of scars on his back where his vestigial wings were removed at birth. He wears plain looking work clothes with a long rough-spun coat over them.
History: Riren has always been attracted to magic, and despite being unable to use it, he has learned how to alter its effects on others through little bits of 'medicine', ranging from massages to highly invasive surgery. All this study of natural magical systems has also given him a pretty good idea on where to hit mages to stop them from casting. He decided to go looking for loot because loot tends to attract mages, and mages are both limitless barrels of !!FUN!! and great subjects for !!SCIENCE!!

Race: Human
Class: Temple Knight

Looks: Rysith stands at five feet and four inches in height--quite short for the novice knights in her order--and is of eighteen years in age. Her complexion is of a light tone: creamy ivory, as her friends would say, and her long brown hair falls straight until her shoulders.

Her body is lithe; slender and graceful though built enough to be able to carry light plate armor. She prefers wearing clothes of azure or earthen tones, and prefers loose, simplistic clothing to aid movement yet keep the body protected from the elements.

History: Born as the only heir of a blacksmith and priestess, Rysith was schooled in the arts of the temples of her village--holding a holistic attitude when approaching the world and its many problems. Being the daughter of a smith, she worked most of her freetime as an aid to her father who supplied most of the rudimentary tools and items used by the villagers and farmers. In time, her attitude and perseverance was noticed by the upper echelon of city officials: unluckily or not, at the same time the yearly 'crusade' announced itself (The crusade is a competition of sending professionals from the village in the service of the land).

For Rysith, her knowledge as a healer--herbal, faith or anatomic-- as well as her limited training as a fighter put her in one of the spots available.

She was free, but this was only the beginning.

So far we have eight people, a lot more than expected.
There are also quite a few healers, again, more than expected.

I considered not letting you play as one, since it seems a slight bit overpowered, in my opinion, but I'll let you go ahead with it anyway.
