If you're going to suggest an organization that has been classified as eco terrorists since early 2000, I'd think it's at least polite to point that out.

Can you give me details? I'd also like a little more information on the electronic frontier foundation, given their proffered support for Snowden. Yes, i buy the leak, i don't buy him (or that he's a foreign spy, for that matter).

The have a TON of information on their website, so why not ask specific questions you don't know the answer to instead of stating vague apprehensions? We can better answer them that way.

Their site is unlikely to state how reliable they are, and i couldn't find anything stating their stance on Snowden. They're certainly active about opposing PRISM etc., but I'd like to see how they addressed that particular detail.

If you're looking for an activist community that agrees with your stance on every relevant issue, good luck.

If you weren't apparently averse to Googling, you'd VERY easily find the E.F.F. as an organization holds no official opinion on Snowden (the only two appearances of him on their site are mentions in their articles, and they don't seem to be talking about him at all, just the case)
OTOH, Snowden actually had E.F.F. stickers on his laptop. Not surprised.

I searched more and more and couldn't find any connections other these. E.F.F., honestly, fights issues. While it's true that sometimes this is done by defending a specific person in court, their biggest successes are when they create legal precedents for future cases. If you're very passionate about issues in Internet freedom and privacy (and don't want to get caught up dealing with controversial tabloid story nonsense), they seem like a great organization to work through.

Alright. I don't care particularly about Snowden himself, but others seem too, and it cant be denied to be a part of the story. I recall a guardian article mentioning them offering support, hence the questioning, and i think it unwise to disregard, though i admit my memory is not perfect, and you likely had the right end of the stick. I did already mention this, if you look at the comment you originally replied too, and please assume that i use Google. I'm more concerned at to why it was leaked. I don't wish this to become an argument, so please carry on dumping links.
