Fine.

Scalp him with the knife and then sacrifice him in the Mingan. Then raise him as a zombie.

To say that Tarana got disgusted by the proposal to make armors from alive bandits is to say nothing, she threw up her last meal just right here, on the leader's body she just looted. That ended badly for the remains of the bandit dissolving it quite well... It's quite hard to say if Tarana did that unintentionally or to deny Morgred access to that body...

After recovering from her nausea, Tarana pretended that nothing happened and positioned herself near captive female mage
" Do you have anyone who can pay any ransom for you or your friends?  She asked trying to not pay attention to the words and action of the lich

[I have a feeling that at least one of the party members (read: Zoah) would have some objections to your plan, Gamerlord, so I am going to temporarily pause to allow them a chance to actually be in-character and object to this instead of DM-fiatting them into sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, playing along for the sake of party unity.

...of course, that may just be exactly what they do anyway, but I'd like to give them a chance to have a say in it themselves. You can safely assume that your character is in the process of tying him down, and otherwise preparing to do exactly what you want.

If they don't reply in a day or so, well, tough cookies for them, they were too busy doing something else to object!]

"Don't kill him, Morgred! We'll probably get a better bounty alive."

"Weeellll... technically, we're tax collectors, appointed by the authority of the Baron. Ow!"

The woman had attempted to make a (non-magical) gesture with her hands, and winced as she felt the pain from trying to do so with broken fingers.

"It's nothing against the Duke. One lord is the same as the other; the Baron just pays better."

You don't even know if there is a bounty at all! Let me do my thing.

Hearing the woman's words, Morgred chuckles.

See? They're the enemy!

See, even the alcoholic - no offense - gets it. Let him live and we get more money.
Myrln looks intrigued at this.
And how do you think the Duke would react if we brought you to him?

He may not be Duke for much longer... seeing as one of his ancestor's is getting a new body soon.

Oh no, you don't understand, Morgred. The Duke. Is paying. Us money. The guy you're collaborating with is probably just going to give you a pat on the back. Which is not money.

He'll probably honour the Duke's payment. Doesn't matter really. The Duke's an idiot. This guy is smart. It's in the interests of the people, really.

On what basis do you see the Duke as an idiot? Besides, being stupid is better for us. Makes him more likely to give us money.

"Oh, I'd expect I'd have a short period in Sidhe irons followed by a show trial and a long drop. Maybe even burning my body. I'm dead anyway."

Most would assume this was pessimism; it was merely realism. Being magically bound and quickly killed was standard execution procedure, and she knew it was a risk of the job. Until today, she had considered it improbable; now, it seemed to be the most likely option. At least, until the talk of treason came up. She'd let her head drop in what appeared to be resignation, but she was actually listening closely. This sort of news might be significant enough to get her merely banished, or lose a hand instead of her life.

Hmm. Well, I'm willing to compromise. Do you have any information on how we could sneak into the Baron's camp?

"Do you bandits have any sort of base nearby? A place where you might keep spoils from other recent operations, or something like that."
