Let's give the serfs another right; if they can beat an orc in one on one close combat, they get an orc's rights.

Won't work. Why would they want Orc rights. Besides I highly doubt we could get away with that.

Still voting for my 3 step: natural, people and civilian law system. With both elven and orcish civilian law.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

To be honest, I think about leaving this thread to itself - While I certainly had my fun with this, the whole style of writing was too word-heavy and while the plot itself was satisfying, the system behind the game was severly lacking. Or rather, if I prepare another game like this at a later point in time, I am very likely to make a different approach about rolls, attributes, abilities and random encounter-stuff. While the lore - with orcs being quite unhuman in several points - was also very fun and in my opinion a "charming point" of the story, it suffered from the same fate as the rest of the story - too wordheavy and detailed. Sometimes less is really more.

I took multiple liberties with the style of writing every now and then, and take certain results with me. Like mentioned, if I should get into the mood again I very well might pull up another similiar game - I certainly have quite a lot of ideas for improving the miss-managed parts of this setting, with a few new implementations. For now thou I would like to concentrate on the quite more prefered familiar-thread and expanding my capabilities a bit further before attempting to try it. As I do get more able at using programs to do the real drawing for me, the new version could - or should - certainly include more maps - maybe even of the city, and other graphic supplements.

It was a very good learning-experience, and I am thankfull to those of you who participatedch - the "lurkers" also get my thanks, as the view-count was certainly also due to them. All in all, it was a nice welcome to my "active" role in this part of the forum, and certainly influenced my extended stay in here. In that sense;

Thank you very much.
