Remembering the blind teammate behin them Bruce answered slowly "A corpse, various bitemarks across body, mostly centered around eyes. they have been eaten through and whatever did it then ate the brain, And finally left a message in blood saying we were all dead."
"So just another normal day for working for SCP?"

"Our chances are shit! You know what I found while pretending to be a janitor? A report on a SCP that only makes pasta. The agent death count was two. How that happened is something I'm still trying figure out."

"Really if you think about it most of the SCPs have something on their body count. So you, uh, doing anything later?"

Another sigh "Pretty much, how did you end up in all this mess?"

"I managed to deck an SCP as it was going by. Apparently they had been chasing it for three hours and didn't have any idea how to catch it."

"I was a prisoner in Clock's prison when SCP-682? No that the croc thing, SCP-173? No that the neck snapper. SCP-914? No that some gears. Ah yes SCP-058 crawled into the building and killed most of the people there. I walk into it and we fought till the foundation got there to recapture it. They at first through I was a SCP since I held my own for 4 minutes, but after some tests they 'hired' me. Not much of a choice really."

"I was told that if I ever told anyone about my experiances I would be and I quote "Amnesiaced so hard your mother wont know you." So yeah.... not much choice."

Hearing the magic words "weapon discharge" put Billy Joe in a bit of a retrospective mood.

"Speaking of weapon discharge, that's kinda how I ended up in this plum-dang mess. See, there were these varmints trespassing on my property, and I was really, really drunk, so I shot them a few times. Well, more than a few times, t'be honest, but I missed 'em mostly, since I was really, really drunk. They went down easily enough, ya see, and then I went to bed. Woke up next morning, blew a few chunks and said hello to the nice officers that were on my doorstep. They told me I had shot a buncha fellas called SCP operatives, but it was all okay because they were all crazy already and were carrying something the officers wanted. SCP something or other. They got a real hard-on for numbers. It's SCP-god-knows-what this and SCP-your-mother's-birth-date that. So, anyway, they told me that I could either come with them or get a forget-stuff pill, and I didn't wanna forget stuff, since I already have a hard time rememberin' things, so I went with the kind gents, and here I am. It's been a tad weird, gotta say."

We should follow any blood trail there is, shouldn't we? Then we'll know where it went.

"So, anyone else meet that Dr. Bright guy? He tried to convince me to go poke 682 while I was on break one day. I would have done it but another researcher saw him in the middle of telling me directions."
