For example, Dragon Sword from Dragoons is typically a crappy ability. Give it to a summoner, and now you have someone who doesn't have to stop attacking just because they lack MP, AND its based off your magic stat. Equip Shields from a knight lets glass cannons survive a lot more once you get some aegis shields.

But is there NO bad class when you can't do this? For example: in a Natural rules run like I'm doing now.

Natural rules change things slightly, but I'd still say no, no bad classes. The absolute worst, I'd say, is geomancer, as it has nothing in itself that adds to itself. Same with berserker, but that does so much damage its not even funny. In and of themselves, all the classes are viable. You just have to be creative and use your assets. Of course, 99% of the assets are Guardian/Main Gauche daggers and Elf Capes.

Neo Exdeath is down, and in a surprisingly easy battle.  I have to say black mage + triple berserker isn't too terrible of a party.  The only fights that gave trouble were World 2 Exdeath and Necrophobe, and those were probably because I was underleveled (~33 for Necrophobe).  I may have went a little overboard rectifying that before trying the final boss.

Berserker #1: An idiot who hits things with axes and knives

Berserker #2: An idiot who hits things with axes and knives

Berserker #3: An idiot who hits things with axes and knives

The Black Mage: This person actually gets things done.  They wipe out random encounters, break rods, chew through bosses with elemental weaknesses, toss restoratives, white mage with the wonder wand, and summon with the magic lamp.

Remember folks, when trying to cheese out a battle with red magic, armor, and trying to stay alive and failing, it is FAR more effective to just give everyone Black lvl 5 and nuke the crap out of exdeath with Ice 3, and not bother trying to heal or stay alive or anything.

Added Shinryu to the pile.  I can see what everyone means about his death animation.  Also, I can't believe I spent the entire game not knowing what the battle speed option does.

First round I berserked him with the Wonder Wand.  Most runs ended with him just immediately one-shotting Krile and then wiping my team.  I won the first time I got off berserk and Golem.  The fact that most of his subsequent attacks bounced off my shields was just made it more embarrassing for him.  Note: blocking with a shield takes priority over Golem, so rather than just buying one turn of protection by taking the first hit he sees, he only steps in when he's needed.

Ok, so probably the final roadblock.

How on earth do I beat the Gargoyles without any multi-hit attacks? I really can't do anything until I defeat them, but unless you can kill them by giving the order to kill them at the same time, I don't see any way to actually win this battle.

I think they each have like 5k HP.  Hit em both simultaneously.  Work em down low, and then kill one and then the other.

I'm stuck on Neo Exdeath.  Can't take out almagest in time.(Leaves my knight and zerker with 50 and 20 hp respectively, which then saps down to 0.  If I can manage a pheonix down or elixer, they tend to get vacuum waved despite having the mantle. and it's basically a try to get situated to fight but almagest wipes you next time.)
lvl 36, knight, zerker, ranger, dancer.  The chicken cheesing with the dancer is nice, but it's not anywhere near enough to hit almagest for 55000 damage in time(Nor is it reliable enough even if it hit every time before almagest hit).  On another note though, I killed his first form without even taking a single hit.

Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

I managed to defeat Omega by the skin of my teeth. Currently trying out Shinryu but not having that much luck yet.

And Neo-exdeath - https://twitter.com/Logical2u/status/352264501783048194/photo/1

You're probably better off going with Hermes Sandals than Elven Mantles, as getting twice as many moves is far more useful than blocking 1/3 of Exdeath's physicals, which is his least dangerous section.  I'd pull out both your Aegis shields (one from Forest of Moore and one from Istory Falls), as they have a chance to block everything you're worried about, including almagest.  If you're not doing natural there's some other shenanigans you can use, like boosting your berserker's agility with Eq Bows (will roughly double it).  If you're still having trouble you might just want to grind out a few more levels in the forest section of the rift, as it's low risk high reward.

I also assume you've already taken into account Zantetsukening the back section.

Yeah already using magic lamp(Wish cateboples could break alma).  The problem is, after almagest, the physical section attacks almost immediately killing the knight.  Guess I'll grind a little more.  I am doing natural, so unfortunately no fun comboing.

Count the health. Beat them down. Wait till they BOTH attack right after each other, then hit them hard. They'll only revive each other when their rounds come around.

Yeah almagest was wiping my party at 33, and 36.  So I just decided to heck with it and powerleveled them all to 40.  Once I could take alma's part down, there was no more danger.

Also can you reg again after you beat the game?  I'd like to random again.  Minus the naturalism.
