Welcome to Flormart!
Flormart, the world's largest mega-mall! You, my friend, are a Marketling, a small humanoid who live in the shelves of Flormart. You and your friends have been exiled into the vast, open world of Flormart. Many adventures await you, many dangers lie in wait, and many heroes and monsters will be met and made! Come, young Market-child, tell me your name.
Marketlings are small creatures resembling humans. They are most often as tall as a human forearm, which is about from your elbow to your wrist. They live for up to 40 years. They are capable of carrying up to three times their own weight and are able to climb the tall shelves. They are unknown to the staff working there, and live together in large clans and chiefdoms. Many exiled Marketlings tavel together in trolley-carts. They use them as mobile base of operations and raid other clans.
Flormart is the largest (and only) mega-mall in Kommunistlande, the most communist country in the world! After a war with Megacorp, which they lost, Megacorp built a large mega-mall which was the size of two cities. Since Kommunistlande gives its people rations, no-one ever goes to Flormart, except the convicts who are condemned to work there.
Flormart sells nearly everything! From high-quality tissue paper to nuclear warheads, Flormart has them! Many Marketlings live high up on the shelves to protect themselves from the genetically-modified dire rats that live on the bottom.
There are seven major sectors: Meat, Dairy, Vegetables, Appliances, Books, Toys, Pets. Marketlings from different sectors have different variations and abilities. There is also a Tesla Coil in the center of Flormart, where the Philosophers and Magi reside.
Name: (Marketling names are things you buy in a mega-mall, such as Cheese, Sofa, TV etc. They don't have last names.)
Age: (10-14. That's adulthood for them.)
Sector: (Meat-+1 Bonus to hunting and skinning, Dairy-Able to milk creatures for milk, poison etc., Vegetables-Can grow plants in your cart, Appliances-+1 Bonus to operating appliances, Books-+1 Bonus to knowledge of your choice: philosophy, tactics, Toys-Can create various traps and toy armor, Pets-Can tame wild animals.)
Specialization: 3 points to spend on: Height (bonus to climbing), Brain-size (bonus to intelligence rolls), Sneakiness (bonus to hiding in small crevices and such)
Stats: 10 points to spend on:
Str (How much you hit, how much you can carry)
Atk (Accuracy of hits and throwing objects)
Agi (Balancing on ledges, doing acrobatics)
End (How much you can take, how long you can run)
Int (Smartness, problem-solving)
Cha (Smoothness, bribing, haggling)
Spd (How fast you run, how fast you attack)
HP: 10
EP: 10 (You can use it as a bonus modifier for rolls)
Inventory: Rags, Weapon of choice (knife, pencil, anything a tiny human could hold), One armor piece (lego armor, cardboard shield, etc.)
We will start with 6 players, and you start with a shoddy cart. I will only be able to post updates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
