How the hell do I jump to another sector?

hit "M" to access your map. left-click on a spot that you want to go to, and then hit the spacebar to jump

Make sure it's within the blue circle, that's your jump radius.

Thoughts:

Let us convert metals up and down tiers, with an exchange rate that makes it less optimal (can't make it too easy I guess)

Mining from further away is probably going to be a must, but I've only used the iron mining lasers. Automating mining to some degree would also be sweet, but that becomes a problem if there then isn't something fun to do.

I did! It's in the blue circle, I've a titanium ship with 300 km/h max, and it's still not working.

Zoom way in (mouse wheel) and it will show you the range you can jump, via a shaded color on the map.

Yes, yes, I know! I select a sector within the blue circle, press space, and nothing happens. Nothing.

Edit: Never fucking mind, you have to rightclick the sector. Nobody said you had to do that >:c

Also, on the map, it shows the number of asteroids, number of something wierd, number of shipyard and something else. What is between asteroids and shipyards?

Kill AI ships to get turrets.

Can I find turrets on wreckages of old ships? Like, pregened ones?

sadly not. turrets are released when a ship turns into wreckage.

I'm sorry I just made this page my questions and your answers, but

how do you mount more than 3 turrets on a ship?
Also, can you make a tractor beam or a carrier bay or something like that?

How do you upgrade your ship? Also, so far I've only found neutral ships.
E: Nevermind, you just shoot them and then go near them so they shoot all the other ships.

E: Either I made an enemy shipyard jump away or I glitched it out. I was camping near it with a dozen enemy ships all firing at me, thus hitting the shipyard.
