You know, I just remembered something. Hackers can use their tools at a range of 1-2. So that means that Dan can actually use the chest at 5.8, although I question what happens. He gets what's in it, or just unlocks it so the rest of the team can use it?

Also, what would happen if someone stands inside a forcefield when it comes back on, another thing I wonder. Damage and shunted to one end or the other, just being shunted, stalling the forcefield, or becoming trapped in it?

Chests are the only things that Hacker has to stand 'on' to hack them.

The forcefield will get on and the person will be still in his/her spot, able to move off at his/her leisure. All other units won't be able to pass the forcefield, though.

I imagine a unit can't rescue when in a forcefield that's currently on, can they?

[I'm currently waiting to see the outcomes of the combats before submitting any actions]

So you can, after long consideration, write a post next Friday? :P

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

They don't call light mages snipers here for nothin'.

Anyway, Xelda, I suggest you go for the chests because I think we won't be able to loot them afterward. Maybe, all depends. If we can hang around here for a while, I think we can, but I think the cops/army/something will show up after this spoiling our chance of some lootin'.

Also you're hurt and the brute will nine-dam chop at yah if you aren't careful. Me and PS can take out the brute well enough, I think, although I'd be pretty darn hurt by the end of it.

So, I got me an idea.

If Thalf and Alden both use a pill on Alden, it will bring him to nineteen health, and the three enemies combined can only do eighteen damage. So next turn, assuming they all attack him, he would of killed the brute with a counter and dealt grievous harm to the swordsman.

After that, Alden or Thalf can kill the swordsman while the other pills Alden, leaving only the rifleman crying bitter tears due to his allies having been killed while the other guys just won't go down.

I want to see if we can get through this with no one getting knocked down.

EDIT: Suppose I should say as a note, I couldn't find any other alternative that either doesn't have Alden getting downed, or Thalf being attacked. The enemies can all outrun the both of them, and a single pill and one of them dead is still just enough to down Alden.

Well, better decide it once for all. Shoot them or use the pill on Alden?

I'd vote the pills.

Your call. If you pill Alden, he's survive the next wave (unless super lucky crit) and, if they all attack, the Brute would be dead and the swordsman wounded. If you shoot, the brute would be dead and Alden would go down to the swordsman and rifleman shooting him.

At least, that's what I'm seeing as outcomes. One of them could miss, one of them could crit, some of them might flee after seeing Alden back to full strength.

EDIT: Either choice, you'd be safe from reprisal unless the rifleman wanted to be very stupid, get right next to Alden and shoot at you. In which case he'd be very dead next round and you'd take five damage.

It'll be nice to actually feel the distinction between an armorman and other classes at the early levels, as the differences in defense felt pretty null to be honest before hand, this change looks like it would fix that up right quick.

Happy for the progression boost and extra stats are appreciated, makes hitting their cap a much more plausible idea.

No complaints about the weapons beyond there not being an Armorman specific one. :p That I find it funny that there will be a weapon with a crit rate of seven.

Happy about the personal skill.

All in all, looks good to me.
