Well, everyone needs to run a full rogue tree for the dodge... and you can spec out the guns required I reckon.  The hardest part is the garage and managing ammo.  I reckon you can do some join/leave shenanigan if non-host gets caught.

Apparently, you have to be present from the beginning to get the achievement. So yes, you can leave/join to help the rest of the party get the achievement... but you won't get the achievement yourself if you leave and rejoin. (And, if the game is public, there's the risk a non-Tabula Rasa player joins and screws over the run for everyone. I guess you could do invite-only with your friends list... but it's far safer to just mark the game as Private once it starts.)

On the flip side, the achievement description is apparently slightly wrong... you get the achievement if everybody in your party has no skills. That doesn't mean you need 4 players. In theory, you can solo the achievement just fine... if you can deal with Hoxton Breakout solo, on Overkill, with no skills.  :o

Haven't personally tried it, so I'm not sure.

This Reddit thread suggests that bots are fine, though without an outright confirmation. Meanwhile, this thread implies that not using bots is a luxury, not a requirement, while also confirming that it's possible solo without bots (and mods, for some insane reason).

Either way, I don't believe the difficulty scales with the number of players, so unless you find it easier with bots than players, I'd suggest getting a real team. Host the server, change your username to something Tabula Rasa-related, use Hoxhud to check everyone's skills, and set the game to Private once you've filled the lobby (so nobody leaves and a random with the wrong loadout joins). Doing it solo looks hard:o

So... The only people who get it get banned, because obviously they're hacking.

 ::)

Like I said before, hox breakout is a pretty easy map. Keep ahead of the truck on day1 and you avoid most of the cops the only hard part is if you have to drill the truck. Day 2 is really easy, open both the infirmary and armory and there you go.

I got it on my second try, first try we got screwed over by having to drill the truck.

(of course since this is possible it just makes it even more absurd that it's worth so much exp and cash)

Actually, yeah I can see it. The typewriter is a pretty decent little gun, not sure about the ak. With some luck, the first door or two you open is the right one, which speeds it up immensely. And in day two, just keep sightlines to a minimum and babysit that box as hard as you can.

New trailer for "the bomb" heist here. Does not show anything about the actual heist at all, but it's still kind of interesting.

I believe this heist is not actually made by overkill, but by a company working for them, combined with the letdown that "the" diamond was.... I'm not going to board the hype train this time.

Actually I've barely played the game at all lately, it's just not the same now that I hit  V-100. Even stockpiling huge amounts of cash is unsatisfying because I know I'm going to have to burn it all up if they ever release new infamy levels :(

Ok, so the bomb heists are pretty damn good. The maps are huge and a touch complicated, and whilst it's still distinctly Payday they do have a different feel. It looks like the guard patrol patterns on dockyard are more regular than standard, which makes stealth a little less random (probably - not tried). Forest is really very open, which could make DW interesting.

I'm not sure myself. Things like the completely overkill DLC being limited edition don't sit quite right with me. (Though that all depends what the secret content is as to whether it's justifiable.) More importantly, nowhere is it stated that the completely overkill pack includes the overkill pack......

And of course, there's the implication that we won't find out who betrayed Hox if the goal isn't reached.

EDIT: Confirmed that completely overkill pack doesn't include standard overkill pack :/

I'm not sure myself. Things like the completely overkill DLC being limited edition don't sit quite right with me. (Though that all depends what the secret content is as to whether it's justifiable.)
It being secret content (and masks I guess) makes it even worse for being time limited in my opinion, I would particularly like to know whether the thing I am buying is worth it before I buy (let alone an undefined amount of time after I buy it), so that I'm not trapped into buying something completely useless like a bunch of achievements.

As for the hype train thing, I'm pretty ambivalent to it. I see it as basically a shameless money grab (Overkill's been doing a lot of things that seem like them recently, so it doesn't exactly surprise me), and I highly doubt they are going to not release content they have presumably been working on for a while (given that they are apparently planning to release everything in a period of slightly over a week, it has to be basically finished already), so even if not enough people give them money I reckon they'll release it at some point anyway (if it even matters if not enough people buy stuff for the event, they might just add extra numbers to the counter, it's not like anyone who isn't Steam and them has actual numbers on how many people are buying their things). Maybe not during that week, but probably a month or two after it. (Probably with another event thing.)

See, to me it seems to be a way to fund their post-release support. Which, let's be honest, there has been a lot of it. The amount of support and work they've put in costs a good chunk of change, so I really can't fault them. No one is forcing you to buy the "what's in the box" DLC, and they outright say it's just a way for people to help support the company.

I'd rather they have the heists and such that are currently free cost money (preferably a bit less than current paid DLC, I'd expect a new heist to be $5 with this scheme, rather than the $7 it is currently) than probably buying a thing that isn't going to be useless on the pretense of supporting development in general.
