Ah, fair enough, I can see where you're coming from. I think I just like it because it's slightly different from the standard payday mission (defend drill/ shift bags). Plus witty Hoxton comments

Uh ? I've done it recently, and it doesn't strike me as longer than most missions. Sure, he asks you to go there search x stuff a couple times, but that doesn't take long.
Sure, it's always long when an NPCs needs to do something, but I think the worse is Bains that takes AGES to tell you the next step when you're cooking in Rats (then I haven't played it since release, they might have changed it).

Opinions on diamond heist:

Feels similar to framing frame (loud). A few objectives to guard in order. A bit of map knowledge goes a long way we soon discovered. And the end is nice. Won't say more, cause spoilers.

For people saying hox breakout is hard, look at the new achievement :p Just got it, was a fun change of pace though I don't like either of the guns it makes you use.

My opinion on *the* diamond - it's surprisingly easy and straightforward loud, I was expecting something more like big bank... but nope, it's very simple.

Stealth seems like more trouble then it's worth, there's so many guards everywhere. Seems like it's the sort of thing you do once for the achievement then never touch again.

The payout is also shockingly bad. It's not quite art gallery level but wow... only $400,000 $150,000 ($400,000 is the base payout) for stealing *THE* diamond, and $100,000 per bag (on ovk)? I get it, ingame we're stealing to give to the dentist in exchange for getting hoxton out, and meta-game it's such an easy heist (you can probably ECM rush it from stealth) it can't be high paying but... bleh.

Overall I'm kind of let down.

Apparently almir has confirmed somewhere that they payout is bugged and the loot values aren't scaling based on difficulty. If that's true, the diamond would be worth ~$600,000 (+$400,000 base is ~$1,000,000 minimum payout) and ~$400,000 per artifact bag on overkill.

That's... a lot more reasonable.

It does not change the fact it's a rush map that feels really simple compared to big bank/HLM (or even hox breakout) but at least it would pay more then mallcrashers.

In my greed, I ran out across that thing before the gas even started. Barely survived, and forced us to take even longer. But in the end, I WAS THE CARRIER OF THE DIAMOND >:3

So, there is a new slot on the skill screen. Evidently, you can set up additional skill trees to use, without having to respec. Cash is now even less useful. You get two slots free to start, next slot costs 1m in OFFSHORE cash, and last two slots need level 100, with the final needing an achievement.

Edit: So, the achievement to unlock the last slot of the additional skill trees? Hoxton breakout, overkill, No skills, suits, golden AK, chicago typewriter. Everyone has to have those.
