I'm I-52 or 53 (that means I've gone through to max level once, and then chosen to take a point of infamy to go all the way back to zero to start again!) and still loving it, it's still a thrill when things go right and you manage to stealth a heist....though it's equally a thrill when you're trying to stealth and someone (or something) messes up!
Me and a friend were doing the 'Go Bank' heist with two randomers last night, we controlled the crowd inside and outside. Everyone down or taken out, camera taken out, both passcards had unlocked the safe and I was going to work on the deposit boxes (I was the fastest lockpicker thanks to perks).
We had one guy outside ensuring nobody walked past us, we had one guy inside constantly answering the phone, we had a guy ferrying the bags up to the roof where the cage would eventually be assembled, and me unlocking the boxes. All going swimmingly.
Then we get a call saying they were sending someone from security over as a precaution. Shit.
Two guys go outside and take them out, then another call saying a police car would be doing a routine drive-by to check. They spot a broken window and get out, one calls for backup before they can take him down....and it all goes to shit. Thankfully, I'm on my last two rows of boxes - all the bags ferried to the roof so far. One guy now stays on the roof defending the bags, two others defend me. Eventually unlock all the boxes and drag all the bags up to the roof under heavy fire, then the cage parts get dropped in....
...right behind two police vans and a row of heavily armoured SWAT.
So it's a mad dash with two on the roof laying down fire, two of us running to get the bags, then a mad dash to assemble, drop the bags in, and wait 2 minutes for the pilot to take the cage - first time, thankfully. Then it's a mad dash through the sewers, facing more guards than we'd seen topside, to the escape van. Two didn't make it, but my heart was still pounding on the payout screen. Madness.
