Same as knight, i've got myself a nice team we play regularly.

I think the only two things I have to say about the game are:

It's better in every way to payday1:
Sounds
Missions
Gameplay
Graphics
MP functionality

and...

You can stealth it, and its not easy. It's just hard enough to be rewarding to do. Me and my group exclusively stealth missions and we've got a real good group of the mastermind/ghosts.

Speedrun stealthing a Jewelry heist, we managed 3:24 or so, I think out best was 3:00 but the recording failed.

Our method is: 2 go take out the guards and clear the back, 2 on the streets to control civilians. Works like a charm 4/5 times on overkill about $50k per heist and 2 levels(3 minutes!).

Buy it, it's awesome. It's the best 'heist' game out there. I give it 4/5 stars
Id give it 5 if there was some negotiation with sieging police, I've always wanted this in a robbery game and so far only swat 2 has even attempted it. And if there was more robber interaction with hostages, moving them etc.

About stealth, it was also possible for some missions on payday 1, diamond, hospital, counterfeit (until a point). It's not really the fact that you can stealth it that is interesting imo, but more that there's several ways to complete it.

Also, I'd advise doing the drill on jewelry, it can be long, but rewarding (and if you do stealth, it's no risk anyway).

Yeah we do usually, but this was a speedrun, trying to get all the bags out as soon as possible. It is worth it though like you say I think.

Don't suppose anyone has any spare beta keys laying about? :)

I have Card Hunter beta keys... or Steam Trading cards? :P

Rats is very hard if you don't coordinate well on the first mission. (Even then, staying alive for 3 full cooking rounds is tough as nails.) Screwing up the first mission all but guarantees failing the second as well. I'm not certain what impact succeeding on the second mission has, but yeah... two failures really hurts the payday. It helps to get one of each ingredient on 3 separate people, then designate one person to handle each cooking round - this way, you don't have people stepping on each other's toes. Plus, knowing who's responsible if the lab explodes encourages players to not make rash judgments.  ;D

A fun fact I discovered: you can steal back the meth after the second mission. This obviously angers the gang (if they weren't already hostile), but each bag is worth $100,000, so stealing back all 3 is worth a tidy little sum. And the bags are pretty close to the escape vehicle, so it's not exactly tough to reclaim them and escape!

You can actually make up to 7 bags of meth on the first day.  If you get them all to the gang, they give you four extra bags of cash + the intel + you can steal all 7 bags back.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

I'm looking forward to the full release, but I hope that they wrap up some of the loose ends. The fact you only get a single Payday bonus for a multi-day mission seems a little odd, since it encourages grinding quick heists, like the Jewelry Store over and over again. It gets to the point where if you do the Jewelry Store a bunch of times you won't have money for the mods and masks you get, but if you mix it up and do a little bit of everything you don't have enough to spend the money you've earned on. I kinda wish things worked a bit differently on that front.

I was in a group that farmed for cards last night. We would do a Normal Jewelry Heist every time it would pop-up on Crime.net. We would all go in and do a quick smash and grab. It took less than 5 minutes to finish the mission. Yes, you don;t get much cash but its a good way to collect those bonus cards. In between those Jewelry heists we would do Bank Heist for cash.

They will need to tweak the way you get cards because I think that is what ppl want the most and running Jewelry Heist on Normal is ez-mode for those cards.

That's insane. I knew there were spare ingredients, but enough to make seven bags? Moreover, how many ammo bags do you need to hold off the cops while cooking seven bags?  ???

Not that many, if you go grab cops ammo between raids.

Wow, seven? That's a lot of meth. I've never managed more than two, though I joined a game where they'd gotten all three, stolen them back, and we were doing the last mission and stealing all of the money. On Very Hard. We nearly got half a million in spending cash.

I really wish something other than the drill was available for safe cracking in the beta.
