There's nothing wrong with sending our ten year old adopted daughter alone into the forest to kill monsters and steal their things, right? It's good that she's learning to support herself! Hey, we could be sending her to the lake to be stalked by pedophiles, fish-men, and deviant faeries. Though to be fair the faeries are surprisingly good cooks. Even if we did "accidentally" send her into the desert that one time, she steered clear of the gaping chasm that leads to hell, so all is good.

Don't be silly, we've got mad props in hell after nearly killing their leader. Everyone knows demons respect displays of power.

Technically he sends her in there with Cube... and frankly no one messes with Cube, he is our favorite butler.

Cube is now played by Jason Statham.

Wait what I never fought against Hades/gord, that would be preposterous.

He is right, he beat up Lucifon not Hades.

There is oddly enough a distinction (FOR ONCE EVER!) in this case.

Also Darvi your daughter sure likes to eat a ton... Is it true she can actually eat several gold pieces of food in a day?

Also I will spoil it now... There is no such thing as a proper tailor in the Princess Maker universe.

usually one of the endings has the daughter able to marry their fathers.
...
Of course we aren't that perverse yet, are we?
I mean, sure, there are endings where she becomes a concubine, a sleazy wench and worse...but we won't go that low right?

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

So that could have gone better.
Much better. *buzz*
I'm sorry...
Don't be. Now tell me, what did you do when that goblin attacked you?
Uhm, I shot fireballs at it.
Wait, really?

I was more surprised by you being able to do magic in the first place.
Remember when I burned down that tree?
That was you? I thought that was one of those exploding trees.

Ever since Lucifon killed the dwarves, the tree population got dangerously cocky.

Hey, do you want to set even more stuff on fire?
Uhm... yes?
Awesome, now you only have to earn enough money, and then you can go study magic!
Why can't you pay for school?
They'd nullify my employment if I went out and farmed creeps for loot, as the populace would get demoralized if their figurehead were to perish.
...?
Er, people would be sad if I got killed by monsters to collect their gold, is what I'm saying.
But, aren't you the biggest hero in the kingdom?
Ya well, people are dumb. But don't tell them I said that, aight?

I'm a good worker!
But still inferior to a dedicated machine.
Don't you dare try to revolt, metalhead. You'd only get your perimetre kicked anyway.

Hello there little girl. What are you doing in the castle? Are you lost?
... Daddy told me not to talk to prettyboys.
Why would he tell you that?
Because you'er bad people.
I can assure you that I am not a bad person.
Then tell me what you're doing here.

I don't believe you. You don't look like a guard.

She's right, he doesn't. That smug jerk.

I'm only visiting the palace once every year. Will you be here next time?
Oh I'll be here. I'll be watching you so you don't do anything bad!
Haha...ha?

Heya Putnam. I thought you were busy with your world creation project.
You know how it is. I've got to make a living somehow.
Why don't you just make a world where everything is made of healthy, yet delicious, food?
Because shut up.

*sigh*
Hm?

All this working and studying is exhausting.
Well, uh... Dammit, how do I motivate her about hard work without being a hypocrite...?

Scold her.  Be unspecific and harsh.  She knows what she did and she'll be sorry for it.

Would it make you feel better if I told you the first game I ever played of this ended with either the Hero or Sorceress ending (forget which exactly, I think Sorceress) and her marrying me?

Edit: If I remember correctly, delinquency is tied to some weird derivative of stress based on Morality and Temperance. Sickness is based off Stress and Constitution. Now I guess that is up to everyone if we want to raise any of those but if we don't this will be a problem in the future, killing whole months off our limited amount of time to forge her into something that will make the world tremble. What I'm saying is that a little work there isn't necessarily a bad thing. Also, put her on a robust diet, lets kick that constitution into high gear.

Sounds like the girl could use some discipline. Considering this is Indeterminate Date Fantasy Setting, send her to church. She'll pick up some manners there.

Actually, church only handles morality and sin.

I can't recall what handles temperament...
