If I recall correctly, Hydrophobia may have an interesting take on FPS mechanics.

Otherwise, the Blades series is pretty meh. Puzzle Kingdoms is Puzzle Kingdoms. You like it or you hate it.

What about Supreme Ruler 2020? It had a few things interesting going for its initial iterations, even if it was just the novelty of grand scale at the time. Never did get overly into it though.

You still can't build new oil platforms in the ocean where there are oil deposits. Several iterations of the game and that was never fixed.

All this for 4 bucks at Bundle Stars:
UFO Extraterrestrials Gold
Blades of Time Limited Edition
Puzzle Kingdoms
Razor2: Hidden Skies

As I recall...

UFO - X-Com-esque, except, if I'm thinking of the right one, I had some major bugs early on. Like the save system not saving half the time, and corrupting the save a quarter of the time.
Blades of Time - Pretty standard fare beat 'em up gameplay.
Puzzle Kingdoms - Not as good as Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Better than Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. Incredibly better than that monstrosity of Puzzle Quest 2.
Razor2: Not a bad shooter, but there's nothing particularly outstanding. And not something strong enough to command the bundle on its own.

Also, a bundle I don't think anybody's mentioned yet:
Sigma Bundle, from Indie Royale:
Gravi
Skyward Collapse
3089
Survive
Freedom Fall
Starpoint Gemini
Starvoid

I believe 3089 and Survive are the gems of this bundle, assuming they're what I think they are (not my style, so I'm not positive...). Skyward Collapse was previously featured in the HB Arcen bundle (I think a fair number of people picked it up for the entire AI War collection).

Any thoughts on Freedom Fall, if anybody has it?

I'd like to know more about Survive, frankly- are we talking cheap cash-in on DayZ-esque gameplay, or does it have any real depth?

Ooookay, did some digging on it... and... it's not what I thought it was. Posts on other sites about it are calling it pre-alpha and extremely buggy (not loading for a lot of people), to put it mildly, but has a decent amount of potential.

Love pinball. Real pinball. But does anybody else find computer pinball to just be sort of seriously lacking, compared to the real thing?

What, the lack of cheating bumping with your hip?

slamming the table to effect the physics is a legit part of the game, so much so that most computerized versions include it.

But yes, playing the computer versions are lacking.  There is something amazing about the craftsmanship of those games, all the electronic and mechanical parts, lights, sounds.  the physics of the game, how carefully balanced the various shots are.  The people

And if you've ever repaired or restored one?  you appreciate them on a whole new level.
