Anyone have a clue how long various bundle keys are good for (specifically Humble Bundle and Bundle Stars gift keys, but any experience is welcome)?

I was thinking about picking up a few, but they wouldn't be used for a while. Wouldn't want them to die before getting claimed.

As far as I can tell, HiB individual game codes are good indefinitely. A few weeks back, I cracked open a Steam code off a bundle from about two years ago which processed fine. If you mean the code they give you for the entire bundle though, I have no idea.

Yes, that.

Still, thanks for the response. I guess I should just hit them up so the answer is kept for all to see in their support pages.

I recently used humble steam keys from 5 months ago.

On that note if you've ever bought bundles it's worth going back through them to see if there were games added as bonus that you've missed or games that have had steam keys added that didn't have them originally when the bundle came out.

At the risk of making everyone feel like I'm spamming you, I would like to file a complaint that my money has been disappearing.

New Humble Weekly - eight Daedalic (point-and-click?) adventure games. I'm a sucker - already purchased.

New Indie Gala - what appears to be a random assortment of eight games. Post-apoc FPS, two racing games, a space RPG/RTT, and a collection of odds and ends. Dirt 2 apparently has GFWL, won't let you save without an account, and Codemasters have said they don't plan on changing that despite GFWL going away in the near future. Even still, I'm sorely tempted by the other offerings.

I would also like to note that Forge is not what I thought it was. I mistook it for Smite and was sorely disappointed. It also appears to be nearly dead. In all of NA, there was one server with ten people, a few with two, and a handful with one. What little I played was not engaging. The control scheme (move with wasd, attack with 1-6) is also... obtuse, awkward, and un-fun.

Star Wolves is interesting except 3 crashes a lot, from what I remember. Played 2 awhile back and enjoyed it. 1C publishes some good stuff at times.

Why would people ever pay for Creeper World? It's a free flash game, and adding it to a bundle is just empty space and crying "Look! There's more!"
It's insulting.

Daedelic is kind of tempting, but... of the ones I played, only the Harvey & Edna duo really grabbed me. Deponia was passable, though I really felt like clubbing Rufus over the head, ten minutes in, and that persisted for the entire time.

...Only tangentially related, but how are the other Deponias... Which aren't included?

There's a thread on it. It's a flash game, but that's only its platform. It's a fairly complex and somewhat challenging game. A few of us enjoyed it quite a bit. I think CW2 was a bit controversial and changed the mechanics around quite a bit, but CW3 which just game out appears to be absolutely crazy with the features it gives you.

The same reason you would pay for any game with a demo, wanting more of the experience?

Current Bundle of Holding, with a bunch of old school style games. Anyone played any of them and know if they're good?

I have no idea. I'll let you know when the page loads. I've been waiting five minutes.

Okay, went to another page that has the list. Never played any of those. Many/most came after I stopped RPing.

Update on the last two bundles I've posted:

Indie Gala Dirt now contains Huntsman: The Orphanage. It seems to be a pretty meh horror exploration... thing.

Humble WB Bundle now contains:
F.E.A.R.
Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection
Guardians of Middle Earth + DLC
Lord of the Rings Online: Steely Dawn Starter Pack (Steam keys coming "soon")
Gotham City Impostors: Professional Kit
The Millennium Skins Pack for Arkham Origins

Yes, the Humble Bundle contains a $5 DLC (Five bucks for a set of cosmetic skins, yay), but you've got to buy a $50 game separately to use it.

New Humble Android bundle. Rymdkapsel is a really good strip down strategy game. Spelltower looks like a nice word finder game.

All this for 4 bucks at Bundle Stars:

UFO Extraterrestrials Gold
Blades of Time Limited Edition
Insane 2
Hydrophobia Prophecy
Race Injection
Warfare
Puzzle Kingdoms
Gumboy Tournament
Supreme Ruler 2020 Gold
Razor2: Hidden Skies

Not seeing anything awesome, but I don't know most of these games. But the mail I got had a girl in skimpy clothing, I think it's for Blades of Time, so I'm sold.

Eh, maybe not. Unless anyone can recommend any of these games.
