Any coments about fez? is it good/worth the BTA?

I had the same question. Also, the trailer video for Fez should have a seizure warning on it... It gave me a headache.

In FEZ you do have to switch views a lot. That's pretty much the game. You have to "wrap your head" around flat platforming.

Yes, rotating is cool, but do you really have to rotate that fast? (I mean, near the end of the trailer video, it spins around really fast then starts flashing. That could definitely be a seizure trigger.)

To me, Fez is overrated. No difficulty, no enemies, still game breaking bugs within the first seconds of gameplay.

The fast spinning and flashing, if I recall the scene you're talking about, might be one of the in-game cutscenes.

It's a puzzle platformer find the hidden object. And it does it pretty well. If you want fighting, play Metroid.

Replace "no enemies" with "no failure state."

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I want to love Paradox Interactive. I really do. They either makes games in genres I enjoy (Warlock, Magicka) or games that I'd love to get into because they sound so interesting (Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis).

And yet. Their grand strategy games are nearly impenetrable to someone who doesn't have the time or desire to scour a wiki for several hours to learn the basics (yeah I know, these are the DF forums, but its not the same). And NONE of their games work properly or with any real speed on my computer, even with all settings reduced to minimum. Hell, I just tried to fire up Warlock and the freaking terrain was constantly glitching out. Mountains should not be switching to oceans and back every other second.

I don't really regret tossing some money their way in the recent Humble Weekly sale, but it sucks that as of now I cannot play anything they have to offer.

Played FEZ. Had a power issue bout hour and a half in and had to restart PC.  FEZ save gone.

Looks like his autosave backups thing is just bad, which is why people had save deletion issues I guess.  Ah well, not trying it again, too many other things to do / other games.

Bundle of Holding is a fairly new bundle for tabletop RPGs. Currently it's running for one more day and contains a bunch of games based on the Fate system.

The base price of $5 gets you Fate Core and Fate Accelerated, Bulldog, Diaspora, Ehdrigohr, Full/Moon, and Spirit of the Century. Beating the average of $15 gets you The Kerberos Club, Legends of Anglerre, and Starblazer Adventures.

...Interesting.

I might just have to get in on this, find a new tabletop RPG to play.
