Is the Origin bundle worth it for Burnout Paradise alone?

Is it worth $0.01? Probably.

And now, the Theatre of War bundle. Whatever you want for ToW. $2.95 for that plus Kursk, Caen, Africa, and Centauro. $4.87 for those plus Korea.

The video I watched for Africa intrigues me greatly. Battles take place at significant range, completely unlike just about every other strategy game that must have recruited your units from Nearsighted Anonymous.

Theatre of War is made by 1C, the people behind the Men of War and IL-2 Sturmovik franchises (among many more).

Essentially, if you aren't a hardcore fan of realism, it's not worth your money, even at that low of a price. If you're a fan of realism, then you might be interested, but look into it.

The newsletter basically said "For those not so humble, you can contribute $125 and get the entire Paradox library (excluding EU IV and DLC)!"

So yeah, "a bunch more games" is "all of their games except for their latest one".

And, if it's excluding DLC, you're only getting about a quarter of Crusader Kings 2. I think their intent is for people to buy the DLC after they purchase the Bundle (EA's strategy, without the good press on the side).

Still, $200,000 worth of sales on the first day and counting, that's pretty impressive. Didn't the Origin bundle top out at $1,000,000?

I read it as the "entire Paradox library (excluding {EU IV and EU IV DLC})".

According to Wikipedia and my memory (which concurs, more or less), Origin topped out at 10m, and over 2m buyers, making it the largest bundle in terms of sales and, er, revenue. By about double, or so.

I had read there was a paradox bundle coming today but I was hoping for more of a Grand Strategy bundle. This bundle looks like maybe they wanted to prop up the online community of some of their games that didn't do so well.

Also FYI, EU3 Complete is not actually complete, it is missing some dlc that made the game a fair bit better. I wish they had included EU3: Chronicles instead but I guess that isn't even available on steam anymore.

I've purchased the bundle and it is indeed EU3 Complete, not Chronicles or any kind of collection.

So tempted to buy it for CK2, but on the other hand I'll probably never play any of the other games in the bundle (I've already got like a year+ backlog that grows faster then I can play it) and I'm sure CK2 complete/gold/GoTY/ubermegawhatever will be on sale for $10 -$15 before I ever get around to touching it.....

Also how can there be $40 of DLC for EU3  *COMPLETE* ($15 normal price)? How does that even make sense? I know paradox is a Swedish company but FFS they have dictionaries in Sweden too!
