Latest daily Humble Bundle:  Banner Saga DLC! And if you pay more you get... Banner Saga! MORE DLC and if you PAY EVEN MORE you get, finally BANNER SAGA ...
Wut?

(though to be fair,

Please note: The Banner Saga: Factions is a standalone, free-to-play game. The Banner Saga is not required in order to enjoy the these two DLC packs.

So I guess its like... a paid demo maybe?  )

its a free-to-play, pay-to-advance.  you can level up without paying, but very very slowly.  I think the DLC is extra classes and maps, but not certain.

The actual game isnt much of a discount, I think I've seen it lower on steam sales -- though not for a while.  I hear that if it is a game you want to play, it is worth paying for.

Eh, not feeling like paying $15 for a $25 game. I'll wait for a proper sale or bundle for Banner Saga.

The current Indie Royale Mixer 4 Bundle looks pretty good. Anyone have any recommendations or warnings for any of the games? Sword of the Stars and Isomer look pretty sweet, and I've wanted to try out Litil Divil for a while.

Humble weekly's currently got pay-what-you-want on Age of Wonders and AoW: Shadow Magic, alongside Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. Beat 6$ and AoWII (which is kinda' weird, since Shadow Magic is the [stand-alone] expansion :V) and Divinity II. Can also give out 15 for a middling RTS but who gives a damn about Dragon Commander? One of the best TBS series going cheap -- and more or less the only two parts of it you really care about going for whatever -- and a fairly decent diablo knockoff going alongside. I'd call it a pretty decent mini-bundle, heh.

The Pit is pretty good but you might as well pay for the version with the first dlc. I think it's the gold edition.

That DLC costs 4 euros in addition to the cost of the base game. I think I'll stick with buying the bundle (cheaper than the base game alone), get a few more games at the same time, and enjoy it until I get sick of it (which will surely happen before I start to crave extra content).

Humble PC/Android Bundle numero 10 is out
Symphony, Metal Slug, and other stuffs.

I wish Symphony would work on my small Android 2.2 device because THAT'S WHERE ALL MY MUSIC IS. It also has my only 32gb sd card which doesn't matter because Symphony only searches in the install folder, so your onboard storage is the limit.

Speaking of music games, the IndieGala Monday bundle has Circuits, which I have just tried been totally blown away by. The bundle is more than worth it for that game alone. That game is easily worth the full price (which isn't much more than the bundle anyway).

Made a coupla videos of the gameplay:

Last I check Garry's Incident was one of the worst games ever. EVER. It's so bad. I'm not giving money to that.

Yes, Garry's Incident looks terrible. You'd refuse to give money to good developers just to make sure bad ones don't get a few pennies? Classy.

Too bad you can't customize how it is distributed, like with Humble.

There have been a few times on Humble where some games I already had, or didn't want to support, and I've adjusted the sliders to reflect that.

I think once they were sponsoring some charity that I did not agree with, so I reallocated the contributions to give that portion to the other parties.

Yeah, Humble has the best way of pushing money to devs. If the devs don't have a say in what they get paired with then they need to fight for that. When I'm voting with my dollars I am not going to vote for bad products. If I have the cash and the dev is still solo selling their game I'll go to that.

I don't go to Walmart to give money to the employees. You can't. I don't go to Walmart so I don't give money to the Walton family.

Axis Game Factory Bundle for €8.79. Has anyone ever used it? is it worth getting? It looks like it probably tends to create very generic-looking games (like RPG Maker), but I really don't know much about it. It seems like a good price for the software (including two DLCs), but is it actually worth having?
