With the current votes, a SR-Syndie-Separatist Bloc would be evenly matched with a right-populist bloc. Interesting!

Before we can invite GWG or the separatists into our coalition, we would need to hear what they can offer the cause and what they would desire in our cabinet.

The MNB is a social democratic party in the same vein as the SRP, so we would support the vast majority of your policies in Germany itself. Indeed, we only disagree on two points - one being universal suffrage/women serving in the military and the retention of Realpolitik. Our query with the first point is that though we do believe in universal suffrage, we believe such policies would be difficult to enforce in Central Africa - the cultures there may oppose such reforms, leading to civil unrest, while others may support them. We believe control of that should be devolved to the governments of the individual provinces, or "Commonwealths" as we would dub them. Universal suffrage at home in Germany would, however, be wholeheartedly supported by the MNB.

We would also bring a strong colonial voice to the table, something that will become useful when we seek to ease tensions with the Portuguese colonies; their troops currently threaten the security of the Freistaat. We cannot afford to become complacent when a crisis may be brewing.

We will not declare independence or seek an independence referendum at this time; rather, all we request is that our Reichstatthalter become a democratically elected position, thereby enfranchising the Central African population and allowing us to elect our own leader, giving us limited autonomy. Independence is an issue for the future.

My only issue is that with the inclusion of more moderate parties not even relatively close to my spectrum, would mean my ideas would essentially be forgotten about in exchange for the less effective moderate ideas. So basically, I'd be throwing my votes away so only a few of my parties less radical ideas would be thrown in while everyone else gets to benefit.

In any coalition your party would be far more powerful than the MNB. I think your views would take precedence over ours. Also, think about it - what is preferable? A right-wing coalition in government, or a leftist one?

RP: Obviously a right-wing coalition would be the most stable government. A left-wing coalition would have massive problems with passing reforms and doing anything that's semi-productive as there are far too many people entrenched in their traditions. A right-wing coalition would be more appealing to the conservatives and less likely to cause massive unrest due to unpopular reforms.

The left, if elected in the next election, would simply undo all the reforms the right has pushed through, even if the reforms are beneficial, thus wasting 2 years or so. The right would do the same. Only a moderate coalition would be beneficial to the Empire as their reforms would have a lower chance to be repealed thus aiding societal progress.

So grats to GWG  You win, because you decide with whom you enter in coalition. The syndicalist, or the antisyndicalist parties. You're in an enormously strong position. In fact, you can solely decide the outcome of these elections. A power Disproportionate to the amount of votes you got, but still.

Given the situation, I don't see why I need to make a case for you to accept me into the temporary coalition. Instead, I ask you: Which coalition would a bunch of German scholars looking for the best thing for Germany and then humanity want to join, and why?

I can guarantee you that if the results don't swing in our favor, the proud working syndicalists of Germany will take to the streets in protest. I'm only saying this, because I'm very much doubting you'll side with a bunch of moderate socialists and more radical syndicalists.

An electoral split like this, especially due to the very opposing differences of both coalitions is the perfect mix for riots and maybe even a civil war.

I find it more likely you'll side with the right-wingers, that's all. I'm also stating what will most likely happen as a result. I mean come on, who would most moderates want to choose. A socialist bloc with half of the people in it being very radical, or a right-wing/nationalists bloc? I mean, if you don't consider my party in the equation our bloc would most likely be preferable. But hey, DH is probably better at sweet talking you. I'm more of a big ideas, revolutionary type guy anyways.

I propose that we side with the less expansionist groups to preclude any excessive military spending during a time of comparative peace combined with domestic stresses to our nation. We should, of course, maintain no commitments to either group. The intelligent peoples of Germany should appreciate our honesty and recognise that neither coalition has demonstrated their capacities...
