Of course counterslapping can and likely will happen! I've plenty of experience in attacking fellow party members, and I don't not expect to be slapped back.

Yes! Permission to break something non-essential! Or essential.

(Sorry, totally forgot who I was talking to at that moment, so I changed the text)

There is no record of an elf dying of old age. I am not saying that they are immortal, though.

The oldest recorded elf was 1566 when cancer won.

Yes, you may.

I wonder if someone could use a spell of aging to find out...

Half-elfs are just 'longer than humans' though, according to the races list.

Walking into the airship, he notices the girl/woman (You didn't specify your age, or provide any really good clues) onboard, an old soldier's habit of his--always notice everything, and nothing will ever surprise you-- and greets her.
Hello. You part of this crazy adventure too?
who?

Well, I would've posted this yesterday, but had some sort of internet glitch that prevented me from accessing the Bay12 Forums. JUST the Bay12 forums, which is a bit weird. But, whatever.
Yes, Lenglon, I was addressing you. Or, rather, your character. BTW, like I'm asking on the IC thread, what is the rough age of your character?

Anyway, thanks, Ross. I'm gonna go search up my character sheet and change it to include a larger possibility of FUN and a more generally well thought-out structure. Because honestly, I find it's current state to be sad. Saying this, I will probably say, sometime in the near future, that the revision is also bad, but better than it was before.
Also, I noticed that Lelia had 3 feats.
Is this something I'm not noticing?
Or is she a special case because she can't talk to others? (I hope she's not some sort of born socialite. That'd be rough.)
I hope I can get three feats... that'd fix my problem with what to use and what not to use. So annoying, decisions.

I went through, made the changes I wanted to make, and, remembering someone's comment (Don't remember who's) that he seemed kind of stat-heavy, I lowered most stats by 1.
*CHALLENGE*
I'm not indicating what was changed. I kinda want to see what you all can find that's different from the last character sheet update. WITHOUT loading the previous sheet to compare. Stats don't count, because I announced those.
Holy crap that took forever. But I think it'll have been worth it.
If you've reached this sentence, congratulations. You made it through the wall of text which was only somewhat relevant to your life.

Quote from: OP
Feats: 1 per every 2 levels. You start with 2 as a Level 3 character.
3 = 1 @ start + 1 for level 2
we start at level 4
meaning 3 feats.

nope, only reason she's still sane. having said that, she wasn't exactly anti-social either and it most certainly has been taking its toll on her anyway. for a short time it's not that big of a deal, but eventually it gets really rough on anyone.

The reason I was confused is I'm sticking with the group right now, I'm pretty sure I'm not on the ship.

Uhhh....but....
Oh, nvm.
I've misread that post like 4 times now. So, sorry. I'd go edit that, but I'm too lazy. So, 20-25 would be a reasonable guess. Then I'll put it at "My character will address you (Until he learns your name) as 'girl' because she is so much younger than he is."

And plus, I was told 2 feats (By the OP) and then an additional level (By somebody else I can't remember) so I don't know where that puts me. But I'll add in another feat if I get another idea for one.
BTW, you like the wall of text?
(I totally spent way too much time on that)

Grizzled warrior type, I personally focus mostly on the appearance section because my character isn't going to know your backstory unless you tell it to *me*. the rest I skim over for things that might be noticeable and ignore the rest until I have an opportunity to notice them IC, but I haven't really read over it in detail.

((Lenglon goes and takes the time to read it properly))

pretty good, a bit vague on details but you can flesh those out later. the core character concept is there, the question now is what he does in the story of the game itself.

Well this is gonna be fun. Dialog with a character I can't understand...at least until Ross reads my new and improved character sheet! Thanks for the input, where do you think I'm a little vague at?
I'm sure it needs improvement, I just need someone to help point the spots out. (Especially at this time of night, some days.)

EDIT:
Well, I'm off for the night. Lenglon, I'm going to hold off on replying until Ross tells me whether or not my cool knowledge virtue will help me understand you. Like, with your voice ACTUALLY being twisted into some ancient dialect of some forgotten language or some such. Because that would be cool. And also, I think, nice for you, who would be able to be somewhat less of a neglected, forgotten beast person. (Dwarf Fortress mode, YEAH!)
Oh, and, yes, for my feat change I DID science-geek out on all you. Enemies, prepare to meet chemical reactions and phase changes! With some minor possible changes into the plasma state... and the setting of an object on fire by virtue of increased molecular motion. +1 for !!SCIENCE!! (Yes, that is SCIENCE on fire. Which makes it better.)

well, here's the biggest offender in my opinion.
Quote
Born of an elf-lord and one of mankind, both of whom were dead before he knew them, he grew up fighting, learning to cast spells from an old mage, now long dead, killed by a rogue spellcaster who would give Telcontar many of his scars, surviving by the blade and the spell.
raised by the elfin side of the family or the human one? grew up fighting? why? why did his family make him fight? what was the old mage like? why did the mage teach him? rogue spellcaster gave him many of his scars? how? slave whippings? battle scars? all in one session or spread out over time? is the spellcaster alive or dead?
you showed that he had a combat-filled childhood, but not what kind of combat or why.

Pretty sure you get 2 feats at level four. Basically, one every odd level. As far as I'm aware.
