What kinda motifs are common in elven society? And amongst their enemies from the last...however many centuries. Feathers? The noble molerat? Dwarven geometric patterns? A soviet hammer&sickle from the surface men?

Do the civs have favorite crafting materials? Like, elven truesteel (mithril), or heavy-set carbonized steel armor?

You wanted Hand of Glamour.

If I recall correctly, getting that would put your illusion skills at "Beyond Measure." Illusions that cast Illusions. The ability to Dominate lesser Fae. Illusions that harm even if the person successfully disbelieves.

It's not exactly the Hand of Invisibility (which obviously gives you a discount and merchants pay more, aside from the whole 'invisible' thing) but Mass Invisibility is totally a thing.

Of course, it still has to manifest and you'll need to kill a sentient to keep it.


The desert dark elves are roughly "Fantasy Arabs", if you want to know the incredibly general themes I'm going with.
