I think the wondering was more about the slight aside with the race than actually swapping out characters. I want to stick with Jewel for the main campaign, but he's more of a slow and steady guy who isn't suited for a race.

Nah, his body will degrade and he can be killed. Lichdom is more like 'immortality-lite'.

Lower case I is NaturalDeath=0.

Capital I is the same, but with implied "hard to kill."

All caps immortality is "A hundred motherfuckers can't tell me nothing."

Gods don't have immortality. You can find all the details about that in the Fighting The Gods section of the manual.
