Thales's is accompanied by fear. Not to say he is afraid, but the whole bigotry and 'heretics are bad' thing of anger is caused by fear; fear of the unknown, fear of those who are different, fear of being in trouble with your church...

I feel like I missed something here. Remuthra talked about Furyometer, than Ross made spoilers, and then it's like there was a discussion about the Furyometer. I am now confused.

EDIT: Also, as for fishkin, not much. With merfolk, yes, sahuagin, a bit, and other such creatures? Not a great amount, but there's a lot of underwater ruins, so he's interacted with them. Not to the degree where he could read a total strangers mind immediately like he almost can with humans, but enough that he can usually tell if they're lying. If they aren't greatly skilled at it.

Its a good thing on your end that Jewel is dwarf-like even though he's an earth elemental, else the penalties would be bad. His face is human though, mostly his eyes and some expressions he might do would look weird. With someone like Rurail though, that's a whole 'nother ballgame. If I recall, his avatar is a good depiction of what his race looks like in general.

Yeah, lucky dice roll. Even without the +40 from level and not being fated to die, you would have survived.

I mean, granted, your character's skull is leakier than it really should be, but better to be crippled than dead. That death curse AoE killed quite a few people.
