Okay, so Gamerlord, you do need to do something besides praying. Fire some death bolts his way, maybe?
I'll set the grease on fire then, and we need to KO the remaining Shin priests, specifically the high priest with his instakill touch. Then we can blitz the remaining combatants.

Stray thought: how would thales react to an illusion?

hmm, good thing the corpriests don't have mage shield. Would have had to throw a t6 their way to trigger it before using anything else. (note to self you guys: develop a low-cost AOE spell to get rid of mage shields/spell counters)

How much MP does the HCP have? (20) Well, that's continually increasing. How powerful of a single target illusion spell can Mrln cast? If you use one of those on the HCP and a tier 7 on his protectors, you may be able to separate them/get them to spend a bunch more mana. Neun to light up the bunched lesser corpriests with two additional t7s, a couple ghouls to do the dirty work of breaking his arms/fingers/ripping out his tongue (if they can be trusted to do that), and you can finish him with your hand later. (Does the mingan guy mind if the body's in less than premium condition?)

-Alternatively, just use Mrln to help deal with the shinpriests/get rid of counter-spells, and have Neun throw the t7s at the gaggle of corpriests right now. The highpriest is just barely out of (Two)HK range.


Meanwhile, everyone else needs to focus on keeping the shinpriests away. In particular, the ghouls/wolves need to get HSP to use his ohk or keep him away from the pcs. The name of the game here is keep away, so that grease fire or more illusions could do just that, (if only those two people weren't already busy). I doubt arrows will slow the SPs down much, so it might be better to use them on the corpriests. Unless they just happen to have a grease compartment on their quivers, in which case they could light the grease, (all of it).

Tarana, hate to say it, but unless morgred thinks he can keep the HSP away, you're probably the best equipped, being a duelist.

Also: Neun & Zoah are down to 30% (10) hp. Keep it in mind, another AOE could wreck them.

Also: are the swordsman/archers affected by shin's blessing as well?

All this strategy talk seems to go further away to what should be happening: fighting as your characters would within the timeframe and knowledge they have. That, and it is now holding up the RP. (IMO, I guess, but.)

At the moment, it's "You kind of have a feeling that they're going to do X action."

Like, the party would be aware that Myrln has a counterspell going and the general thought of "Let's torch the grease" has occurred to y'all, but there's no "One glance expertly explains the plans without speaking" yet, or for a while.
