Touch of Death is a high-level power. No Level 1 priest has i. No Level 3 priest does either. Zoah didn't have it as an option at all.

The Killing Joke: This feat grants the bearer the forbidden knowledge of the best joke in the world. While it has the side effect of warping their sanity, it renders the bearer immune to mind-controlling effects, and any Go Mad From The Revelation type of things (usually caused by Outsiders, or Renn's ALL THE PORN attack.) Additionally, the person can, once a day, tell the Best Joke In The World to one person who they can sense, causing the person to collapse into uncontrollable convulsions of shrieking laughter, rendering them entirely helpless. Upon recovering, the person only has a vague memory of something hilarious having happened. Low-level characters may even die as a result of hearing The Best Joke In The World.

Getting this once it becomes an option. No question.

Your senses can be deceived, and your emotions toyed with, but those are much harder to do because you're thinking... well, let's say that if regular thought is linear, your thought is akin to Dave's timeline(s) on Homestuck, the timeline(s) of the movie Primer, or the Doctor's timeline(s) strange timeline, weird wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey children. The reality you understand is something entirely different from the reality agreed upon by others. And "tell" is basically saying "You can grant the knowledge", not limited it to saying it.

EDIT: I like that you worry more about "armor" than you worry about "frickin Divine laser beams."

Yeah, it's listed, but the profile sheet I have says he follows Shin in the Aspect of War. That is only one of the three aspects. So it was there to pick, but I would have said no.

I'll just quote a few "refuge in audacity" things to put Ross in perspective.

In his early years, before he had many powers, Rhoslyn discussed the idea of Shoot the Hostage with a distant cousin of his. You'll never guess what happened when she was kidnapped.

Ross once gave a patron a blank check. The patron filled it out with enough money to buy Earth 5 times and Ross didn't even notice the difference in the bank account.

It was a work of love, that roleplay. At this point it's long since finished, but people remember it fondly. And not so fondly, too.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was an indestructible gay robot bartender, and a friendly, cokehead grizzly bear. And the fact that the island literally had space defenses. So much insanity occurred. So much. My best explanation is: "Batshit insane fey with more money than God bought Maui; shenanigans occur so hard it breaks reality." and it doesn't even begin to do it justice.
