You'd be operating at a net loss of MP, but yes.

**

Gunmages are Ritual Mages who work by channeling their spells through their guns. They can indeed temporarily self-enchant their weapons, and can have enchanted weapons, but there's a limit.

Just as an example?

Renn's main gun is the following:
Added Magic Damage Type (1)
+4 Damage (4)

Rhoslyn's main gun is the following:
Added Unholy and Fire Damage Types (2)
+5 Damage (5)
+10% to-hit (5)
+10% Degrade upon hit (5)

I'm... not entirely sure what you mean by that question? Mechanically classified...?

Great! Now, is there anything I should know about the creation/uplifting of sentient, sapient and nonsapient life?

Don't think so. Your character has a knowledge of how to stick soulparticles into corpse constructs to provide basic intelligence, both its own soul fragments and that inherently left in the corpses.

If you want more intelligence, spend more MP.

And a happy two years to Lover Girl and I.  (We went camping last weekend because, y'know, easier to do the weekend before.)

I will be on only infrequently today. :)

I don't normally say this, but I have to:

THE DM COMMANDS YOU TO SPEAK.

(I am seriously laughing right now just from saying that, you have no idea how inexplicably hilarious I find it.)

More than the Motherfucking Diamond Katana and the Dragonleather Whipsword combined, but less than the MARY SUE'S ALMIGHTY TRENCHCOAT OF EPIC BADASSERY.

Apologies, the post was made about half an hour before I went to sleep. I'm not always coherent around that time.

What I'm asking is how is armor mechanically classified, like is leather armor mechanically classified as 'light armor' and on terms stat wise with padded or etc, or is it leather armor its own form of classification and thus has its own stats?

Broadly, does armor fall in 'weight' categories and what it actually is fluff, or is what the armor actually is important? Like, is there an intrinsic difference between splint and another armor of similar weight, like say heavy chain or so such?

Considering Jewel is to be a tanky guy who can tank the tankest of the tanks, knowing how armor exactly works would be a good thing to know.

Yeah, there's general categories of "light", "medium", and "heavy", based on weight and range of motion.

It's not totally set in stone, since you can have Whitesteel Fullplate that is light armor as protective as Steel Fullplate under "heavy armor."

And yeah, there's some differences beyond that. Chain is best against slashing and bludgeoning, while splint has better Pierce soak value than Chain. Not a whole lot, but enough.

I don't have a full table of armor soak yet, but what I have so far is:

Leather - 3 slash / 2 pierce
Chain - 3 slash / 3 pierce / 2 bludgeon
Splint - 3 slash / 4 pierce / 2 bludgeon / 1 ballistic
Breastplate - 4 slash / 4 pierce / 2 bludgeon / 2 ballistic
Lesser Ring of Protection - +2 to all
Bracelet of the Elements - 4 fire / 4 cold / 4 electric

If y'all would like to suggest values, there's XP in it.

I'm no armor expert, and I'd be going off of Mount and Blade quite heavily, but I could farce you up some possible values if you'd like.

I'm going to take a not-so-wild guess that firearms is ballistics. Which isn't bludgeoning, hurray! Tankin' bullets ahoy!
