Well, this will probably not come as a surprise to you, but underground red moss is generally found underground. Look in wet caves, not dry caves.

Denca Northern Oranges come from the north of Dencaf, which is actually on the other end of the continent, over and past those mountains you can't currently get past because winter. They're similar to Southern Oranges, only sweeter and they come a few weeks earlier.

As far as coriander goes, well... it's coriander. Aka, cilantro, Chinese parsley, etc. Specifically the fruit/seeds, in this case. Spice merchants would have them. If you looked hard enough, you'd find people in the town who have sold out. Quite possibly the easiest good to get.

I notice the previous description doesn't mention magic...

*pretends to roll dice*

You do indeed notice that.

I see there's practically no way I'm getting those ingredients here, then. Oh well. At least I can still head out into the desert to search for more meteoric iron and other valuable materials.

It'll still be handy, though. Imagine in Act 3 (possibly sooner!) when you find all of the ingredients, and take a quick flight back to get everyone's equipment fixed all the way to Perfect quality for free. :D

Xantalos: What sort of staff do you want? Just a regular, typical oak staff? If so, it's like a penny; we don't need a whole scene to get everything all purchased. Ironwood is closer to a pence due to the components needed to make it, and is on-hand.

If you want a magic staff, then that will start costing.

By 'magic staff', do you mean a staff imbued with magical properties or a staff that helps with casting magic?

In that case, yeah, a magic staff.
Because I need something overly phallic to wave around and shoot fire out of too.

Of what tier(s), how much capacity for mana in it, how durable do you want it, how much (if any) mana do you want it to reduce from spells not of the fire nature, the ability to store mana in it...?

Details are important here for determining price.

It would ideally be a tool I'd only use for the bigger spells or when I'm out of mana, so a moderate to high mana capacity, the ability to store mana in it is obviously a yes, standard surability since I'm not goin to be breaking faces with this thing, and ... perhaps a bit (say 5%) off of elemental magic? So:
Medium-high mana pool
Store mana? Yes
Durability is not a priority
5% mana saved from elemental spells

Last question: is it going to have spells built in? Like, say, it has Tier 3, Tier 5, and Tier 7 spells constructed into it? And if so, does it have a separate self-filling mana pool to cast from them, or does it drain from the general pool?

I will say that staves by default simply have mana storage like a battery; those with spells (usually) have that self-filling pool, but only for those spells.

(Note to self: work on tiered defensive magic...)

No, the thing I'm envisioning is basically an amplifier/substitute mana pool type thing.

The base price is 52 aurea and two pence for a staff with the following:

- Perfect condition (needed to enchant in the first place)
- 20 MP capacity
- 20% reduction in MP costs for fire spells while wielding (mostly applicable to Tier 4 and higher, as per MP cost reduction rules)

The price includes labor, materials, and repairs.  After making your haggle roll, it gets dropped to 50 gold. Sound good?

Also, since I have entirely forgotten what is in the special inventory, I am gonna re-list what I know is on it, and then have you guys tell me again what you wanted.  Herp derp on my part.

And, as said earlier, this is notable inventory. I am assuming you lot have stuff like: backpacks, barrels, baskets, bedrolls, bells, blankets, fishing gear, empty bottles, buckets, candles, canvas, chains, chalk, a lockable chest, a crowbar, firewood, firestarting equipment, grappling hooks, ink, standard hammers, mirrors, paper, rations, sacks, wax, needles, thread, whisles, soap, shovels, a sledgehammer, tents, vials, whetstones, etc, as well as any mundane/minor magic (think "self-shuffling deck of cards" when I talk about "minor") tools implied by level, feat, hobby, virtue, etc.

You know, things that adventurers would have. I'm just not keeping track because nobody really gives a shit about tracking ALL THE INVENTORY.

Party Notable Inventory:
32 Standard Healing Potions
16 Standard Mana Potions
Adventuring Warrants
20 Barrels of Gutter Hooch
12 Barrels of Cactus Wine

Individual Inventory:
Zo: Steel Retractable Spear (Good), Steel Breastplate (Good), 115 Aurea, 3 Pence
Mo: Steel Broadsword (Good), Ancient Ritual Sacrifice Knife (Good), Leather Armor (Good), 115 Aurea, 3 Pence
My: Staff of the Flames (Perfect), Leather Armor (Good), 62 Aurea, 1 Pence, 4 Shillings
Ta: Steel Rapier (Good), Leather Armor (Good), 115 Aurea, 3 Pence
Ne: Battleaxe (Good), Leather Armor (Good), Staff (Good), 4 Flasks of Strong Alcohol, 95 Aurea, 3 Pence
