Well, the angel is a being of magic, and I suspect Jewel might be too because of how elemental-ey he is, and the undead is alive because of magic. The gunmage may know magic, but its a whole different ballgame when you're talking about beings of magic, or alive because of magic, themselves knowing magic not in the equation. I'm very sure that the fishkin is the least magical... High magic verse's are silly fun.

Oh, I just found it amusing, was all. Course, Nathan's innate magic comes from his elvish and angel heritage. Maybe we're all way more magical than we think :P

Thales has some good access to divine magic, but he's set up to be rather tanky, partly because he'd need to be.

You know, if you wanted to be spawned from Arnum's aspect of truth, you'd be a demon-born. And it would be interesting to see how Arnum favors a tanky combatant when he's got this in his bio: "Arnum expects his followers to be a combination between scientists and philosophers, preferring to use words and logic to resolve disputes".
You might want Minkah- major aspect of truth, child of Bree & Arnum, Bree being the 'street justice' goddess that's rather violent.
Perhaps Coranthiir for his righteousness & purity.

On an unrelated note: yes, I do feel outclassed. Want to make that perfectly clear.

I'd only wager out of water. In water, you'd be the best of us, with Jewel being the worst due to his proverbial rockness. Thales has steel wings and heavy armor, I'm worried to think of what might happen to him as well honestly.

Some of Beta Party is going to be totally useless for a big Quest Boss Fight in Act 2.

I'll assume that 'some' to be Jewel. :p

I'll think of ways around it, even if it has to involve my crazy "They said I could be anything, so I became a wrecking ball" plan.

Unless you're talking about a boss who's immune to physical attacks, in which case we'll also think of a way around that. ...Do magical beings count as weapons if used as such?

If you're feeling left out we could visit a Sidhe realm and watch them be racist to everyone except me, who they'd be contemptuous towards.

I'll never understand why people believe the 'if they drink it, that must mean it isn't poison.' So many ways to thwart that.

...Unless that's the purpose here.

About how much less resistant to magic is blacksteel, and how much stronger is it?

It would be the most polite racism ever, likely ending up in everyone in some form of debt to powerful Sidhe.

Also, yes, it means "Kick the Barony out for the Duke" or "Convince the nobles loyal to the Duke to join the Baron."  It all depends on how you want to handle it. Either are valid options that can count as success. The Guild may dislike the violation of the contract, but it would be forgiven because of the inevitable "The Guild is now licensed to act in a new area" that would be a reward from the Baron.

It was done to establish that it is not poison. Which is to say, as a DM, I am saying "It's just overly sweet alcohol, with no poison, toxin, etc etc in it. She's being polite, not secretly poisoning you."

It's about half as resistant to powers, but the chances of quality loss is reduced to 1% per hit, 2% for a Natural 1 on your defense roll, and 4% on a combined Natural 20 Attack Roll + Natural 1 Defense Roll. And yes, the shield will start at Perfect quality.
