I'll look at them all soon.

I have to say, I'm not sure why "weaker than the party" got translated as "weaker than the party all combined." I think something got lost in translation.

Unless y'all would like to explain why they decided to follow low-level Adventurers.  I'm sure you could come up with something.

Personal preference?

Isn't "weaker than the party" by definition weaker than the sum of the party? The other would be "weaker than each of the party".

Well, the strength of any one party member is kinda subtle, at least without our preferential treatment when it comes to magic. That dragonkin example seems to, in fact, be better in a straight physical fight than some of our party members.

As for my submissions in particular, I went off the level-description chart in the OP, (mainly, l2 is average, l3 is gifted, etc), and in the case of 'ranger' in particular, I treated that as a non-combat, non-magic class, (almost flavor).

As for why they decided to follow us...I figured they'd be assigned to us by an authority or something. Ignorance of the setup?

Myral's are probably the best ATM.

I have an irrational fear of people using sharp objects close to me. Also, the last time I took an IV I donated the bed crimson, so yeah :P.

I kept mine with a three virtue maximum, and a max 13 stat average. That's lower than the lowest stat average (Jewel at 13.5) and half the max virtue. I think that should be fine, should I whack it with the nerf bat?

I'll get around to the other three in a bit.

Strangely, while I can't take the idea of having something injected into me, I'm weirdly fascinated by having blood drawn.

I suppose that I have practice doing things that terrify me.

Needles are fucking horrible in concept (pointed metal designed to tear holes through your body and inject or siphon fluids? ALL ABOARD THE NOPE TRAIN TO FUCKTHATVILLE.

I have a tattoo and piercings and donate blood, and am going to do more of all of it.

I'm terrified of heights. Like, being on the second story makes me jittery. Tower of the Americas had me in the fetal position with eyes firmly shut (no, I wasn't up there by choice) but I have jumped into water from approximately three stories height and fully intend to jump out a fully functional plane.

You never know what your limits are until you push them.

EDIT: I'm big on self-improvement. If you're not moving forward, you're moving backwards. Your mental limits are not as hard as you think they are.

What I'm saying is that you should be the you that you want to be in the future. Or "be the you that *doesn't* suck and is awesome."

Not to say "You suck"  so much as "Everyone sucks at everything, some people suck less at some things, and one should, in general, try to suck less."

Example:  You probably imagine Awesome Fantasy You doing a Cool Thing. Aside from that, what are you doing to be more like Awesome Fantasy You?

Awesome Fantasy Me is ambidextrous, so I'm learning how to be. Awesome Fantasy Me is a damn good archer, so my birthday gift for myself is going to be to replace my old bow and shoot every day like I used to. Awesome Fantasy Me would update the thread regularly, and... well, I suck. :p

My first draft was terrible, so I dumped it. Trying to find the words to describe *correctly * are hard sometimes.

There's more plans, just not enough time.

Can anyone give me a brief of summary of what happened and where Tarana is?

After the god fight, Alpha party just hung around, doing stuff, now a fire giant crashed into the city, Alpha investigated, and we have to go somewhere and kill some people to save the world.

Oh snap, both of 'em lose if UR wants to keep going.

Not much transpired with alpha party. Anyone know how long Alpha hung around before the newest scene?
It's a fire giant ship, the one Beta rode in on. Albeit some kinda timeframe ahead of where Beta is right now.
You guys haven't gotten to the 'go somewhere kill someone' part.

Two new party members, chink & wolfchild got replaced by lenglon & madman.

Just waiting for a prompt as to where I am and how I get introduced to the party.

The easiest 'in' would be 'already in/heard of god fight so headed to THE CITY and now HOLY SHIT AIRSHIP CRASH draws you all together'.
