I suppose that I have practice doing things that terrify me.
Needles are fucking horrible in concept (pointed metal designed to tear holes through your body and inject or siphon fluids? ALL ABOARD THE NOPE TRAIN TO FUCKTHATVILLE.
I have a tattoo and piercings and donate blood, and am going to do more of all of it.
I'm terrified of heights. Like, being on the second story makes me jittery. Tower of the Americas had me in the fetal position with eyes firmly shut (no, I wasn't up there by choice) but I have jumped into water from approximately three stories height and fully intend to jump out a fully functional plane.
You never know what your limits are until you push them.
EDIT: I'm big on self-improvement. If you're not moving forward, you're moving backwards. Your mental limits are not as hard as you think they are.
What I'm saying is that you should be the you that you want to be in the future. Or "be the you that *doesn't* suck and is awesome."
Not to say "You suck" so much as "Everyone sucks at everything, some people suck less at some things, and one should, in general, try to suck less."
Example: You probably imagine Awesome Fantasy You doing a Cool Thing. Aside from that, what are you doing to be more like Awesome Fantasy You?
Awesome Fantasy Me is ambidextrous, so I'm learning how to be. Awesome Fantasy Me is a damn good archer, so my birthday gift for myself is going to be to replace my old bow and shoot every day like I used to. Awesome Fantasy Me would update the thread regularly, and... well, I suck. :p
My first draft was terrible, so I dumped it. Trying to find the words to describe *correctly * are hard sometimes.
There's more plans, just not enough time.
