Jewel and Thales have Steel Rain, which is amazing.

Remuthra, we should PM for Arnum-related combos and other secret shenanigans(secret mostly because it has to do with my character's backstory, which must be technically secret even if everyone basically knows what it is). Also some Lore related things, since we both have history knowledge.
Sure, though teamwork with Daethwin is a strange concept.

For now it has been, but that's mostly because we've been in the diplomacy phase. Once we get to the blowing-stuff-up phase, he'll be just fine with your smiting fervor.

Heh, thoughts? Only one really: you're pretty good at coming up with stuff!

Mm, throw Rurail in with the crafters- lvl2 leatherworking afterall.
He's also familiar with music & dance, so Rythm Fever might be a significant Daethwin/Rurail passive agility combo.
Tidal Advance/Retreat: 'Oh BOSS!'

Mmm trying to think of other stuff. Might be a while before I edit, (work soon).

Yeeaah, got nothin.

Comment: Rurail and Jewel have actually been designated as being friends before the adventure began.

But yeah, I think we almost run the full gamut of materials to work with: leather, stone, metal, all we need is wood and textile, I think, and we'll have a full range of people who can make stuff. Well, enchanter too I guess, but that's less making an item than imbuing one.

Anyway, an idea for skipping stones or some derivatives (warning, probably not practical nor wise):

Daethwin could probably manage enchanter in a pinch. I wish I'd made him a whittler now, though. I suppose Artist might cover that...

EDIT: For Skipping Stones, what about Jewel beginning to build up momentum while charging at an enemy, Rurail running up behind him and jumping onto him, then straight up; the extra push Rurail gives puts Jewel into a full-tilt headlong charge at high speed, whereupon he effectively tramples the enemy, smashing into them and past, only for Rurail to finish them off with a Dragoon stab?

Doubt it would last for long, otherwise that would be pretty imbalanced.

Skipping Stones: Could work, really I think the move could just be general term for one that words off of Rurail using Jewel as a jumping platform, and from there it could jump into a lot of derivative forms dependent on the situation.

Hey, I managed to get Tongues via divine magic, why not whittling skills?

That was a rare chance divine grace thing, I don't think that had a good chance of succeeding.

Not to mention really terrible for balance. What's to stop people from becoming great smiths, rival of those who spent their whole lives honing their craft? Or swordsmen? Or siege workers? Or learning other forms of magic? It would pretty much invalidate any character's crafting skills.

Divine whim, mostly. I'd think it would be possible, but a high-level power.

High-level power isn't an excuse for making something game breaking or invalidating for many things.

I don't think whittling will break the game. Nor do I suspect that it will give beyond a rudimentary understanding.

Besides, what do you think makes Wizards so powerful?

I think certain game designers made errors in balance that unfortunately set a trend in thinking, is what I think about wizards. I can't blame the people for accepting the trend, its a prolific game and often an introduction to this sort of thing, but such as it is.

It's also magic. 'Realistically', being able to bend the laws of reality tends to be pretty damn powerful.

That said, I still go by Steven Brust on this matter: 'No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style.'

You can Permanency yourself as much AC as you want, but you're still vulnerable to coup de graces.
