Guys, sorry I haven't updated yet... :(

I can safely say that Demoralize + Illusion did indeed hit, and that as a result, the bandit group now has a 10% to-hit penalty.

If there is a specific limit, then what was specified.

If there is not, it depends on the feat. Some are just always on, others have diminishing returns depending on the situation. Like, say, Bad Feeling will work unless DM-fiat overrides it (Read: pure chance, that's literally the only reason Myrln didn't sense this coming), while you will eventually grow tired and run out of mana from using illusions or making a super-effective one.

As it stands, you've got plenty of juice left.

Ah, good. I'll likely be using my illusions a bunch as I'm not exactly a front-line fighter.

I'm pretty sure Zoah and Morgred are going to take the lead on this fight. They both seem to be more front-line types, and Zoah has been in plenty of situations like this before.

So, we just need one more guy for Beta Party to start I think, yeah? We got a bit of an odd bunch, thinking on it. Earth elemental fighter, fishman fighter, human gunmage, human elementurgist... Wonder who the fifth guy is gonna be.

Well said, though I hadn't thought about Nathan being a gunmage till you said it. I guess he kinda is. XD.

Still, the Alpha lot are: Angelborn fighter, Skeleton deathmage, Demonborn roguelike, Dwarf/demon bezerker elementalist and a fey/human mage.
Personally, dwarf/demon bezerker elementalist sounds such a crazy concept on its own, never mind an odd bunch in general. :P

Very true. Though I imagine with such diversity in races and classes its to be expected. All the difference races, diversity is apparently enough of a thing that people don't bat an eyelash at sapient skeletons, demons, angels, dwarf/demons, fey/humans... That, or they expect adventurers to be weird, which is a completely understandable expectation.

Both are true.

By the way, a "round" of combat is anywhere between 4 to 10 seconds; you can assume 6 seconds is a safe default value. It is currently Round 2 of combat, so technically speaking, this combat is fast.

A rout will likely occur when at least five are dead and twelve injured, although that depends on certain other factors. The fact that the leader managed to get himself killed almost immediately paired with the Demoralize certainly helps, though.

If we succeed and driive the bandits off in the next round I'm labeling our party as badass for being able to drive off a party of 30+ bandits, killing and wounding many, in 12 seconds or less.

If you guys can do it in 36 seconds (6 rounds) then it's still pretty badass.

5 on 30, and in under a minute, the >30 run away, scared... ahaha. That'd be great.

The numbers indicate how many HP they have left. Several are totally unharmed, while six are critically wounded to the point of being vulnerable to a no-save instant kill.

When I say "absorbed damage" I mean that your armor prevented a certain amount of damage. Any damage listed after that is above and beyond the capacity of your armor to absorb.

The existing damage types are: Slash, Pierce, Bludgeon, Fire, Cold, Electrical,   Acid, Holy, Unholy, Death, Magical, Auric/Psychic, and Unblockable. Obviously, Unblockable damage can't be prevented.
