Considering they're already friends, I wouldn't be surprised if they wound up getting them first so we need to be prepared. Got any ideas? I was thinking of you using Jewel as a mobile jumping platform, where he tries to toss you in the air while Rurail simultaneously jump, final fantasy dragoon jump-stabbing someone from afar. Got any other ideas, cause that's all I got besides back-to-back fighting.

Why not go for the classic banana peel? More seriously, ice should work fine. I can try to avoid melting it for you.

... Some kind of water or oil based lubricant? Problem is, the heat from the flames would still mess with it however, so no matter what you choose it will still be affected by the flames, unless somehow protected by heat, after a while, but you should be able to find something to suit your purposes for a short while.

Hrm, as far as special combos, ehm, same thing, except insert the halberd as a lever-- you grab one end and try to turn it as Rurail jumps. Whether or not it would work is a good question, but hey. Otherwise we'd just be good at fighting singular opponents or in semi-confined spaces- whenever we can keep them on one side. I'd be able to stab over you & keep them from flanking around, you'd be able to press them forward, without giving ground. And that rhymed, which is a good omen.
