Sweet. Expect me to get hosting soon.

I'll be asking you to pick a "signature skill" and I'll be giving you a free 10 Skill in the area. I'm taking mining for myself, ahaha.

ANYWAY, I am typing right now. The Swordsman managed to score two Natural 20's in a row, lucky shit...

That's pretty rare. Do you want the skill declared here or when this thing is started?

Quote
Myrln snarked, and the attack was on!

The first to do any action was Morgred, who sucked up mana from the ghouls and  held it ready for use, connecting the pool to the party members as several ghouls collapsed into dust.

This is written in a tone far below acceptable levels of the hypothetical.

I will ask you when you join the server.

Post is up.

- The Priests are all out of readied counterspells. You won't have to worry about counterspells until they go another round to prepare them.
- I didn't say [X HP damage] because most of the targets were killed. The HP counts are updated down below.
- The Shared Mana Pool is half depleted. It would have been less depleted had effort not been spent countering the counterspells.

The order of battle is, roughly:

Enemy Rear : High Priests
Enemy Back Quarter - Priests
Midground - Initiates
Vanguard - Shinpriests

Vanguard - Tarana, Zoah, Swordsman, Skelewolves
Midground - Neun, Myrln, Morgred, Ghouls,
Rear - Archer

Well, it may or may not be a cause for worry.

There's two rolls to see if it is heard and if it is granted. Then a d4 to see if it is Offensive, Defensive, Magic, or Insight. And then the Lesser, Minor, Moderate, or Greater answer, and then from there. He may end up getting the Greater Answer of "Holy Conduit" and have no worries about MP for the rest of the battle (not likely), or he might get the Lesser Answer of "Seeking Vision" which would let him see hidden treasure automatically (a lot more likely).

The odds are mostly in favor of him getting a Moderate answer.

If I tried to bring down part of the ceiling on the high priest, could I stop his prayer in time?

No, but it will change his prayer attempt to be "Defend your servant from his enemies, pretty please" as opposed to "Coranthiir's Will Be Done."

If he uses his prayer to not die instead of killing the party, that seems like an improvement.

Damn. How much mana would I spend if I tried to the floor below the initiates (and possibly the priests, too) into lava? How about bringing the roof down on them?

I'd call it a Tier 7, possibly higher.

Keep in mind two things: convection occurs, and nobody is entirely sure which pillars are load-bearing.

I have the best idea.
I'll coat the floor with ice/slippery stuff. Then watch with amusement.

There are too many lame jokes to be made, so I'll refrain from falling short of expectations. We all know it's a slippery slope from bad jokes to pun-related humor.

Making jokes is like standing on thin ice. If you're not careful you fall through and the thread devolves into a pun war.
