Which game was that, DF adventure mode? :P
Hah, funny I didn't see that. Nah, it was a redbox D&D game that was basically a bunch of guys making characters and running modules that are haphazardly strung together with no real overarching plot, or any plot really beyond what the modules bring to the table, except for what the characters make for themselves. Was a whole bunch of fun while it lasted, lot of cool things the players were trying to aspire for.

On a more on-topic thing however, looked through the deities, not really one that suits Jewel's taste, or rather what I'd imagine Jewel would worship. Closest was Auhrua or some name like that in the lesser deities with the Earth domain, but the rest didn't fit. So now Jewel will worship a deity who doesn't exist, hurray.

Non-jokingly though, only go for it if you think you can handle it. I understand it can be rough on a GM handling two parties at once.

Is there talk of having two groups? As awesome as that sounds, I do fear for a GM burnout. Too many RP's that have died on me, I'd like this to live :P)

Well, the longest thread I've ever ran hit, oh, 6200 pages, with a regular "Plot Night" were I'd have to coordinate at least six people, writing multi-paragraph replies with each of them in different positions. This also involved getting done with a MEGAREPLY, hitting "refresh" and then seeing that two more people had added paragraphs, and then adding a few more lines. This usually also involved a side character at the default location interacting with non-quest PC's.

I'm pretty sure I can handle two parties of four with the shorter post style we have here, provided that they make it easy on me by specifying [Party A/B and Location] at the beginning of their posts.

Wow. I should be able to do that, and I can amp up the RP provided I have sufficient free time.
Could you link us to the thread in question? I could do with some reading.

Don't worry, I'm not asking people to have lengthy replies. Having shorter ones is definitely a good thing.

[PARTY B; OOC]Hadto

Very impressive! An easy measure, to be sure, don't see that being too hard to accomplish to place such a thing.

Also, hey Max. Seems hammer smashan' and rifle shootan' are being combined instead of against each other this game, I see good times rolling ahead.

XD gosh you're right! Can't keep a good friendly rivalry down. :P.

Will admit, I did design my character to fit in line a little with the current group... shall be interesting to see how this group works. :P

You beta party man, get on board and strap those boots on for intense action, we go feet first son! (As a note, while hilarious I do not suggest aerial dropping to go "feet first.")

I'm interested to see what the others will come up with.

I certainly am interested as to what will happen.
Then again, this is a game that I'd want to watch even if I wasn't playing.

Also:

Gamerlord, if you beat an 8, then you get the captain's hat. Which is to say, you're probably getting it xD

Don't understand how that explains anything.

Go to Random.org, set the maximum number to 20, click "generate", take a screenshot, upload it to img.ie, and post it here. Or roll a d20, take a picture, upload, and post.

If the number is greater than 8, then your character won the hat in a game of dice. If not, then your character did not.
