I know, I'm just stupid and can't understand the mechanics for what we're doing there.

Since when does that preclude posting?

Poorly.

I will explain there. Again. :P
No, it's none of your fault. I just need to slowly build up an experience of using the mechanics (ie here) before I participate in something advanced like anything with Wizards in it.

If I were to guess, its probably because they can freely do things that would require a soul-break to do as a regular mage. They can combine metastyles of magic instead of specific styles, like combining elemental magic with auric magic if I recall.

My post is edited to explain why you all are currently here.

Yes. The thread was originally titled "You Are A Wizard: Reality Is Your Bitch" because, well, you are a wizard and reality is your bitch. The mechanics of the universe for the party are hard and fast rules with completely understandable, painful consequences should you attempt to violate them.

For Freya, the rules of the universe are more like "suggestions."

Poorly.

Why are you lot helping with Morgrod's quest, you ask?

Well, for one, the route to the manor coincidentally happens to have the ritual place right in the way, and obviously they're not going to assume people wandering the crypts are there for helpful, totally lawful purposes.

Two, as a party you see some use in keeping him not!alive, mostly revolving around "The bigger the party, the less chance I personally have of being an arrow receptacle", "It's good to have primary spellcasters" and "Sometimes we need a psychopath to aim in the general direction of shit we want dead", but with some sense of "I can use this for blackmail later" and "I'm pretty sure we will get more sponsors for Mastership if we keep the party intact," etc, etc.

Third, y'all have this strange feeling that you have gained some measure of "experience" and are nearing a new "level" of abilities, and felt that additional violence would give you just enough "experience" to reach this new "level."

Fourth, SWEET, SWEET BEAUTIFUL LOOT, LOOTY LOOTY TREASURE TIME, GOLD AND MAGICAL ITEMS, WEAPONS AND LUCRE, LOOT MONEY REWARD.

What? Where's my gods-damned filthy sweet lucre?

I can't tell you how hard I'm laughing at you calling Thales a chick. Please don't change that, please, it amuses me way too much.

Daethwin gives few shits about sex when it comes to having it. He gives fewer when the person's unconscious. (Also I fail at internet gender-guessing)

But it will make an excellent running joke.

Instead they have a five foot one man made out of solid stone who can easily grab onto them and be very hard to move.

I could probably pull off some mind manipulation, but I'm sort of the problem in the first place. That, and I could only alter things I felt were lies.

Notification - changed a few words in my character sheet, specifically the virtue I have previously called Life Mage - I changed the name to Seelie and put in a bit about how his dad was Seelie. Thats all that was altered; the description just felt kinda unsatisfying and vague. Nothing mechanics-wise changed.

I don't get it. What are the numbers under Grizzly Adams' posts?

Also, I could pull off ear manipulation. By which I mean I can blow out your ear drums.
