Oh.  In that case, yes it still applies- yourself is still a "certain player."

Is it possible to affect players who fulfill a certain condition (i.e. are present on a certain tile (not the one on which this rule is written), are first/last/in a certain place in-between, have a certain status and so on)?

on that note can we make a tile that triggers other tiles when someone lands on it?

Hmm... what the hell, sure.  "Nearest player" and the like are cool too.

Might as well try this out, claiming TEAL as my favorite color.

1) Can a tile trigger the removal of status effects which one cannot acquire at a given moment in time? (i.e. a tile removes 'Is awesome' effect which no tile gives)
2) Can a tile give 'items' (or spells, or whatever) that a player can trigger at will? (i.e. a dagger of quantum malarkey that he can activate whenever to stab self)
3) If yes, can those items modify the effects of a tile if a player stands on it?
4) Same, but if the player doesn't stand on the tile that is being modified.
5) Can items modify other items?
6) Or themselves?

I can't wait to make tiles that frustrate people to no end but are within the rules.

8. Move back 8 spaces.
16. Move back 8 spaces.

1)  Yes.
2-6) No "items" for this go-around, but I'm totally open to adding them in later rounds, should the winner desire.  I'm a bit unsure about items modifying tiles even when they exist, though.  I don't think items would be strong enough to affect anything but players.  (A droppable land mine would probably be okay, for example, that kicks back the next player to land on it.)

I'd like to play, if the yellow slot is still open.

That works, but rule suggestion?  You can make it conditional, and I'll figure it out.  (IE like your pre-game example, "Move back X spaces" where X is the tile you are on)

I did not. Sorry. :(

A clarification - if I write an effect under myself on whichever tile I move to, does it apply to me that very moment or only to the next person who steps there?

8! Sticky goo - your rolls are reduced to -1 for the next two turns.
