I say we should make the rest of the house into followers, and have them spread the word that there exists a god that, if spoken to at night, grants what the heart desires.
Oooh, this.

Hearts don't really have desires, though. Unless it's to keep doing what they're doing.

So we will grant them the gift of becoming a pulsating bit of flesh?

It is wonderfully ironic.

Maybe we could add the catch phrase...
"You should have read the fine print, uhuhuh"

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Alternately (and less cruelly) we can say that their hearts desire nothing and thus give them nothing.

Since when do we do anything less cruelly?

Well, maybe this one game would be an exception? ^_^

We will only keep 'alive' those we sense have 'potential'.
And we will do our best to subdue-convert the families of those who resist.

Are you sure we can? I'm pretty sure we need our relics. If we can, +1.

A few teenagers managed to fu up the ritual enough to summon a little of us.
We're much more competent.

You can't summon yourself. Aberrations do not work that way. More likely we'd summon a rival.

But I think recovering these relics should be a #1 priority.

Let's at least try.
Also, examine their memories. How did they figure out how to summon us?
