Hello fellow diggers,

It's been a while since I played DF, since last update probably, and I have a couple of question about installment and the game itself.

First of all, the game and utilities:

1) Dwarf Therapist for mac says it does not work with latest .11 version, only 34.07. Is this a bug or I really need to play an older version?

2) Is there any way to make the Lazy Newb Pack work with wine? If yes, is there an explicit tutorial, somewhere? Over the rainbow? (haven't found one myself)

Game related questions :

1) Farmer are not planting, skill enabled, seeds available, farm plot built outdoor and season set up properly... So why? Maybe cold biome stop all crop from being planted?

2) Will having full time militia give bad thought?

being on *active* militia duty for a long time causes bad thought (patrol, station, etc.).  Passive militia duty does not, as long as the dwarves have some combat skills they won't resent being in a squad.  There is a bug in some recent versions that causes excessive unhappy thoughts from simply training / etc. which can be fixed with a community developed patch.  Search "binary patch long patrol duty bug"

Are you sure you have the latest version of Therapist? I really don't know about mac version.

Work with wine? What do you mean?

Outdoors. What are you palnting there? Test planting something more dwarvy to underground.

And yes, "long patrol duty" causes bad thoughts for non-legendary dwarves.

My military is always full time and they are generally the happiest people in the fort. 

I've never seen the farming thing.  Upload a save?

Why have a mac for gaming? use it as intended (itunes, doorstop) and buy something with windows on it to game with
