I go to bed with four of five players in the game ...
and wake up to ten of five players ...the first five are in, even though their interpretation of the colours might be slightly off.
As each of you touches the book your at that point almost empty mind is flooded with visions and lost memories are returned to you.
Red.
Red is the color of the book that was touched.
Red feelings and ideas, skills and magics, seem to spread though the mind of one known as
"Red".
As you touch the book a burning desire for destruction wells up inside of you. Momentarily you see yourself standing on a field of battle, the burning carcasses of your enemies strewn around you. Thick smoke is filling the air. The fires from around you are drawn to a single point and a bright crimson cloud forms in front of you. to your surprise it starts speaking:
"Ahahaha, finally an empty canvas to paint with potential and destruction. Get out there and causes some chaos, or at least be impulsive! I'll reward you with some fun spells! You need a name, though. And a title that fits your new powers. Get thinking! Something like 'Envoy of the Inferno' or 'the hellraider' your name you will remember once i'm done with your brain." With that the cloud engulfs your body, almost like flames. It doesn't burn you, but you feel heat and rage coming from inside your body, as if answering the cloud's call. The cloud disperses and you open your eyes to see that red jagged lines have formed on your skin - almost like tattoos.

Blue, the colour of the vast sea. The beginning of life.
As you touch the book you become cool and relaxed. Instantly you see a vision of yourself sitting in a chair in your tower of ice on a remote island, paging through a logbook you have secured from one of the nearby shipwrecks. The letters of the book and the ocean breeze form into an azure cloud. It speaks to you in a calm voice
."I greet you, seeker of knowledge, let me clarify the topics in your head as good as i can. The fact that you can't remember anything from your past most likely results from you passing through the belt of oblivion, the area that separates the physical planes. At least something as common as a name should be easy to restore. I am the spell that is written in the book you touched. I am older than this plane, in fact i was used to create this plane in conjunction with my brothers and sisters. A week of your time ago one of my brethren was taken by someone. I suggest we find him. But now for some short-term goals. As you might have guessed at this point i am related to water, knowledge and control. I will teach you spells based on how well you gain knowledge and use your mind. And of course actually casting spells will also increase your understanding. Carriers of the spells take up titles that reflect the direction that they go or plan going. Choosing a title is required before i can grant you memories of the past mages that possessed me, allowing you to use their spells. The previous two chose 'the Thief of Time' and 'Sage of the Infinite'. I will now restore your name and transfer from this previous holder's mental plane into yours." With that the cloud enveloped you. You felt a chill and thirst for Knowledge rising from your core to the surface of your skin. It formed wavy blue lines, stretching over most of your body.

Black, the colour of the shadows. The colour of death.
As you touch the book you become afraid and everything goes dark. You see yourself digging up a grave under cover of the night. Finally you breach the coffin. The bones of the corpse and the very darkness form a black mist. It speaks to you:
"What have we here? a new minion? Well well, you seem eager to serve. Or do you want to conquer and grab some power for your own? Not so fast. For spells you need to basically be ... not so good. Dwell in the shadows, use others, alive or dead for your purposes. weaken them. Cause pain. What do you call yourself? 'Lord of Bones' and 'The everdark' were the last two. They were weak. You should be much stronger. Now, give me some space of my own"The cloud of darkness seems to almost smother you, and pain and fear seem to be sucked out of you to the top of your skin. Black lines, somewhat menacing appear all over your body.

White, the color of light, to defend against the darkness.
As you touch the book you get a strong feeling of righteousness and protection. You see yourself enter a grand hall, the armored guards salute you. You kneel before the rightful ruler of the place. The guards and the throne turn into a white mist. it Speaks to you:
"Welcome, defender. I will grant you the power you need to protect your friends. Preventing harm, healing and bringing judgement to those that deserve it will be your goals, and in fulfilling those goals you will find better ways to fulfill them. You will need a title that reflects your chosen path. Your two predecessors were called 'Defender' and 'The Morning Star' . They led fulfilled lives. I will accompany you on your travels. " With that the white fog engulfs you, feelings of Righteousness and Protection well up from inside and concentrate on your skin in white straight lines.

Grey, the color of stone and mind.
As you touch the the book you feel somewhat artificial and energetic. You see yourself standing under a huge machine featuring many gears and tubes. You flip a switch, and it extends to blot out the sun. Lightning crackles around you. The Lightning and clockwork turns into a grey mist. It speaks to you:
"Hi. Create automation. Simplify the mundane. Use powers. Work with metal. Requirement:Title. Taken: 'grand aritficier' and 'Master Smith'. Queued:Restore Name. Integrating, please wait."The grey fog covers you and draws what feels like energy and metal to the surface of your skin, creating a grey clockwork like pattern.

You regain your bearings after the short conversation with your new guests. The sheets of metal under you retract and a sphere of energy engulfs you. You decide to talk to the others, telling them what you saw, heard and felt all while drifting down. The air around you becomes more breathable and you see a village below.
