I've been thinking of putting Surgery next to medical storage and move chemistry there instead.

It's mainly because I need to get some space to put the recovery room, and I'm kinda failing at that at the moment.

Hah, you think it's slow now? Wait until we actually playtest the thing, and add/remove things for game balance. So far I like the rather straightforward and symmetrical design. My existing problems with the layout though are partially the same problems I have with Metastation. Firstly, the maintenance tunnels seem too short and not really that complicated, making it easier for a traitor to be spotted if he's (for example) choking someone discretely. I suggest that they're made a bit like the vanilla /tg/station map, where they have a few twists and turns and diverge in different places, along with having a few "out of the way" emergency supply rooms (But not like our current "Illicit Wing", which is hidden and people have to meta to get to it.) I also don't really like the AI being right next to R&D, as a traitor within science could very easily get to the AI core through their own department. If I was a traitor scientist, I could easily break in there similar to how anyone who gets into the bridge on the vanilla map can break into the AI chamber. I'd probably move it closer to Sec, but that's just person preference.

So far the overall design looks nice, and I'm sure it'll look aesthetically pleasing as well as making sense from an RP point (Since it looks like an actual space station.) Although its overall simplicity in terms of layout might make rounds more skewed in the non-antags favor, but we can really only figure it out once we playtest it.

The most balanced map will always be the default /tg/station, since it's VERY thoroughly playtested.

Looks good! I should be finished with dorms today, then I just need to add escape, and then it's on to the final stage of tweaking before playtesting!

Meta's is custom, and mine will be too. It needs to be to fit the station design.
