"Uh, let's do this in order." Boothany says.

Action: Tie the rope to one of the lantern handles in the main room if there's enough space.

Otherwise, Boothany starts by lifting up the lightest member of the group with the rope (Tanky) then both of them help lift the second heaviest (Inezach) and then all three of them help up the next one blah blah, etc, etc.


Boothany grabs one end of the banner-rope and, once again, flies up to the hole in the wall. Unfortunately, there isn't much to tie the rope around above: one of the lanterns was blown onto the ground during her boo bomb explosion, and the wall behind the other lantern looks dangerously loose. Instead, she flies back down toward Tanky.

Tanky proves to be remarkably difficult to lift (there's really no telling what's inside a snifit's robe). Boothany summons up all her swashbuckling strength, though, and with a little help from the others during liftoff, manages to slowly fly Tanky up the side of the Blockhouse. When she reaches the room with the broken wall, she drops him, exhausted.

After a moment's rest, it's back to work. Both Tanky and Boothany grab the far end of the rope, and Inezach grabs it. The purple dino easily runs up the side of the wall with his spiked Yoshi boots, taking hold of the far end of the rope once he reaches Boothany and Tanky.

For the Humans, it's a little trickier. Even with the help of Tanky, Beth and 'Zach above, each one of them still weighs significantly more than the small creatures. Ochita, being a magi and thus the lightest, takes hold of the rope first. Step by step, she climbs up the side of the wall. Only a few glimmers of the sun can be seen in the sky by this point, and they will all be soon consumed by darkness.

Once Ochita reaches the top, getting Vilhelmas and Teressa up is a lot easier. Finally, the six of them, still slightly coating with dust and rubble, are ready to take on whatever awaits them in the Blockhouse.


They hear an eerie moan from below the sturdy-looking stairs.

Ochita glanced at all of the stuff in the room, and sighed. "I guess we're not gonna get anything cool over here." Although, as she looked over the discarded weaponry, she got a little idea.

Take that metal shaft, and that hammerhead, to make SPEARHAMMER.

"Right... gotta... phew. Check for hostiles." Inezach quickly moves to the western door and peeks through it, to see if there's anyone on the other side. Assuming nothing interesting is there, he then heads down the stairs, giving the stuff on the floor a glance to identify it as he goes by .

She decided to not use it. Mainly because while it was pretty bad, maybe it can be smelted down to provide a not horrible weapon at some town, hopefully. After noticing Inezach starting to move towards the stairs she spoke up.
: "Well, uh. Zach, Teressa. Do you two want to take the lead and the rest of us will follow?"

Boothany follows Teresa after recovering her rope and slinging it into hammerspace. After a moment, she plugs the torch from the wall as well, asking for help if needed. It could be useful.

Then, she moves forward one nub hand over her eyes, one hand holding onto Ochita's robe.

...

She happened to mention...

"Oh, Ochi! There's another Boo here, one of my old friends. His name is Bailey Boo, and he wears an orange hat...uh, he looks scary, but he's not mean. I mean, he's really brave and that's why I became an adventurer like him. I mean he's not nice either but, uh...he's like Teresa sort of...scary, not nice, but not mean-at least, not to everyone...

...

...He said he's looking for a weapon that Boggly was rumored to be searching for-a really powerful weapon, that could help the Kingdom...he also said that a big fleet of ships had tried to attack Bowsers fortress but they um, f-f-f-failed...and we're going to need to look for it two, I guess..."


Action: Follow Teresa downstairs. Also, roll up and take my rope from outside.

Edit: Also take that dangerously loose lantern from the wall. FFS, you tricky dog.

Ochita nodded at Bethany.

: "He's gruff? Well, whatever he is, it would be nice to see him once we're though with this, he sounds like a nice person. And I see.. Sounds like things are getting dire, if we can't even penetrate the fortress. I hope that we can defeat whatever star power he has, and I hope that whatever we're searching for will help."
Ochi nods again, and pats Boothany on the head.

Inezach peeks through the western "door," but all he can see is the night sky. He also tries to identify the items on the ground. It looks like they're just old, rusted weapon parts, plants and other useless things.

Action: Follow Teresa downstairs. Also, roll up and take my rope from outside.

Boothany grabs the ever-burning lantern on the wall as well as the rope she used earlier. Neither of them have any discernibly combat-usable effects, but who knows when they'll come in handy later?

DUNGEON ONE:
THE BOGGLY BLOCKHOUSE



With Boothany's lamp providing light to an otherwise pitch black section of the Boggly Blockhouse, the team finds themselves at the beginning of a maze of twisty green pathways. In front of them, three Boos and a Green Fuzzy jump at the sight of newcomers. Not a single foot into the Blockhouse and they're already swept into combat!

Inezach takes one quick glance at the surrounding area, snorts out his nose once, lowers his head, and charges.
"Hmph. This one's first!" After waiting for any incoming buffs, Inezach moves one space east, then six spaces south, and punts the fuzzy. "Someone back me up, if you can!"

Boothany looks a bit sad to have to attack her boo-bretheren...but she knows she has to, all the same.

Action: After any buffing, move 3 South and then 1 West. Booblades on BooA!

Vilhelmas shrugged, took out his mace with his good hand, spun it as he walked over to Boo B and then struck.
