The L2 was first changed to be more durable, and then had its intelligence boosted enough to be a flight leader of up to 20 Soldiers, or a smaller number of advanced Soldiers/Predators/etc. It looks more or less like a regular Soldier, but with larger antennae and a thicker, more flexible carapace.

Developing electric organs would be nice, but as I understand it we are going more for the ability to convert electical energy directly to chemicle energy. Nothing wrong with it in theory but would likly require some bizare specilized organs.

I suggest to setup the refinery and start building steel\iron supports for our main tunnels\chambers. While we have no earthquakes, that can minimize damage from accidents\faulty digging and will be useful in case of any on attack on the nest

The worst that happens is a shortcircuit and following failure of the reactor.

Anyway if you do want to eat electricity, I vote we go for induction instead of well, plugging in. Induction has the advantage of distributing power evenly through the body. Just give them some metal to eat and such.

One would hope that the reactor was built with a few basic safe-guards in place, and that we have the technical knowledge to control electricity in general. Otherwise we are basically hitting a nuke with a hammer every time we flip a switch...

As suggested, plans for the Day include:

Queen/Nurse:
- Attempt to safely electrify Larvae without Royal Jelly
- Inspect Hybrids
- Tend to Flower

Tech Drones:
- Fabricate lights for the Flowers
- Begin assembly of Food Synthesizer
- Begin assembly of industrial base

Spare Drones:
- Harvest Resources
- Place Selected Corpses In Stasis

Soldiers:
- Stasis

Post will be done sometime today. No promises on that; I've currently got a nasty bout of food poisoning from Burger King.

I'm not saying "this is the only way it will work at all", but I am saying that the best odds of success come from using a full Unit of Royal Jelly. There's a chance of electric resistance just because of the Body nature of the Nurse, Queens, and the Larvae themselves, but the odds are currently leaning more towards harming/killing a few Larvae than they are towards electric tolerance.
