The basic Industrial Lab is complete. We can manufacture pretty much anything in the designs, but it's slow going for everything except for Pollen Refining and Universal Parts. Consider the Molecular Assembler to be a really, really advanced 3D printer.

And now unsafe, not optimal plan based on the assumption that B-queens aren't great in strategy, aggressive  and overprotective of their nests and we need to role-play that

1) Queen eats the larva and commander as in the safe plan
2) Tech drones to design and build some basic EPS for the LVL2 soldier using our plastics, consider using parts of drone sized suits
3) Closer to sunrise: Queen takes her machinegun, LVL-2 soldier takes two machine-guns. They travel some distance by land, than dig in and start tunneling to the crash site
4) We will see...

I won't specify exactly what happened, but I will say the two things to provide you with an example of how bad this is: unlike the previous game, this was not written off as a meteor or a pirate. They know SOME sort of ET is present in the Tharsis region, and are assuming it is hostile until proven dead/friendly/both.

It's not quite "Rolled a natural 1 on the d100 roll", also known as "indiscriminate carpet bombing/glassing the general area" but it's not very far from that, either.

Because I was assuming coming in and out of stasis takes time, and you don't want to leave something time consuming to wait for when they're bashing at our door. And since the situation is now officially "escalated", I say its worthy our worrying now. We shouldn't go on the offensive though, as We are the last hive we still have to play it safe.

We aren't defenseless without soldiers, even unarmed drones are dangerous

But we may get Lvl-2 soldier out of stasis but not more. It is quite smart and can aid in developing weapons and will be enough to obliterate any biped squad alone

And as much I'd like the attack option... it's too risky...

Another plan

1) Queen to study Electro resistant larvae and corpse of L1 commander, then consume both and try to pass both the resistance and improved intelligence to some of her eggs. If time is left aid the farm construction
2) Nurse - keep watching after the hybrid
3) Get LVL 2 soldier out of stasis
4) Finish the new farm. Plant both the hybrid and 8 non hybrid flowers in it. We need to get surface resistant flowers able to grow without our aid, then we may spread them all over planet
5) Nav drones to install hidden sensors around the base
6) Soldier and tech drones to create armor\ESP for the soldier
7) diggers dig
